I think it would be nice at the end of your tutorials if we could see the makeup in natural light as well! Throughout the entire tutorial I could see your studio lights reflecting/beaming on your face (particularly your forehead and apples of your cheeks) making the products seem way more radiant than they actually are. I love the high quality lighting and it definitely helps, but in dewy/radiant makeup tutorials it definitely alters the true effects of what the products do! So it would be helpful to see a small clip at the end in natural light as well so we can see the true limitations and expectations of the products! x

What medication did she go off of?
karissaxplainsitall spironolactone (the nongeneric name is aldactone.) it’s for hormonal acne. I just went on the same prescription so I feel exactly what she’s feeling. 😂
do you know why she went off of it by any chance? I just went on the same prescription about two months ago.. I never knew she took it too.

Her skin is very dewy/glossy naturally to begin with. I have used Laura mercier primer but the end results are nowhere close. Someone with naturally dull skin needs to do a video.
The sheer perfecting powder actually does work...

You need a dewy foundation as well though
I have dull/dry skin and I don't tend to use primer only because I find they make my makeup worse. I just moisture and do on top of that which lets me get that dewy look that makes me look healthy. If that helps I know this is late as hell 😂
You can acheive that with essential oils before primer, wait 5 mns till it dries, algo try some glowy primer that helps a lot! Try yo avoid “velvet finish” makeup, try something lighters and a good liquid shimmer, I do this and My skin looks naturally glossy. Also use a liquid blush, hope it helps 😚
Try the supergoop glowscreen sunscreen before primer. It’s very luminous and glowy
Makeup also looks more dewy and beautiful with nice light which i'm sure she is using. Makeup in real life looks different. You can't compare

kyra williams i have large pores and highlighting only emphasizes the pores. So although i am soooo into this look, it doesnt work for me. Unless there's a trick that does otherwise. Groundbreaking tutorial indeed.

Yes, I love this just all around hydrating makeup. I have dry skin and I love this makeup routine. You should do one with an eye look but still liquid makeups, idk how that would work but something that we could wear to an event or evening look with all liquids?

Katyyyyy!!!!! If your eyes are dry, maybe you have ekzema or an allergic reaction to a product! I had something similar in the last summer because of the setting powder by makeup forever! If it isn't getting better just go to a dermatologist.

I also have dry yet oily skin. My nose is the worst, so dry when I put on foundation and it can look cakey, but an hour or two later it is so oily and shiny! I'm glad I'm not alone with this problem! X
Lauren T that means your skin is dehydrated, even though that sounds wrong. Get on a good Moisturizing serum and daytime nighttime moisturizer and it should stop
