i love that you don't cut too much, its not like you dab a little and suddenly cut to the foundation perfectly blended. it makes the video long but its important for actual learning!
Completely AGREE!!! I was actually taken aback a bit watching this, because I’m so used to seeing others cut SO MUCH. It was really refreshing seeing how someone does “the work”.
Exactly! I appreciate that too. Plus, it gives watchers a good estimate for how long it takes to achieve the look. So many videos cut so much out that you see a 10 minute video that you'd like to do, only to realise that the look would take an hour or so.
Yes, and she even shows entire blush blending process. I have learnt blending from her. It is actually like taking a makeup class. Thank you and God bless you with all good things!!
There's a difference between Lisa and other ytubers. She doesn't just review and slaps on makeup, she actually teaches. She's the only one that I can learn so much from in just one short video. And videos from so many years ago are still helpful to watch now. Lisa, you're a gem and the only true guru here. I hope you know just how much good you do for us. Thank you ❤️

After wandering on youtubeland of beauty guru and cakey makeup, I'm back to Lisa's way of doing makeup. It's so refreshing and sophisticated but at the same time it looks simple, natural and timeless😊
With all the cake faces in the beauty community these days, it’s such a fresh breath of air watching a real professional makeup artist handle makeup like this, like the most delicate painting. You blow me away with your artistry every time. ❤️❤️❤️
What I love is that Lisa teaches you techniques with things you already own, unlike the youtubers who always make viewers want to go out and buy buy buy more. Elegant and informative as always!
I love that Lisa is so genuinely authentic that she often goes into the studio to film after a late night &/or after picking/popping; puts her bare face out there & with what seems like little effort just transforms herself with a result that is always STUNNING. I’ve learned so much over the years! Thank you, Lisa🙏 💕

Flawless skin with or without makeup. You get it right everytime. Always achieving the perfect balance, using a light hand and never applying too much. As a guy who loves to have glowing skin, I really appreciate these video's. I would have to use a really light hand on my skin to camouflage or highlight. You work magic & it's safe to say you are a real artist. I have been following your work for years and I hope you continue to inspire others for many generations to come. Great work!
I apply Loreal’s Glotion in fair all over my face before foundation. People comment on my skin all the time and ask me if I use something to make it look so glowing and fresh. It’s been a holy grail for me for about a year now and it’s so inexpensive.

@@LisaEldridge Hi Lisa, the one from the bazaaruk ‘Women of the year Awards' is incredible, do you have a tutorial for this one? Thanks, Love from France!
I ADORE the mirror you used. It looks like it's been with you for some time and it was the other half of another thing entirely but it broke off, but then it's still useful because the hinge is now what you use to hold the mirror with. I might be overthinking this but it's so charming either way, when items are adored so much that they just become a part of your life.
I tried this today... I'm absolutely in love with the technique.. There's no cakey face, no visible pores, my skin feels so light and "happy". I just need to get better at it and do it faster. Cause it took me like 35 minutes
The delicate way you blended your under eye concealer was mesmerizing. I can't imagine doing it any other way now. This whole look is truly lovely. Thank you Lisa.
What I love about your videos is you keep it simple and yet flawless. Nothing like over applying concealer, ten million products and packing on shit. Who wears make up like that anyways except those youtubers
Practical and excellent results . This tutorial is the real deal and the moisture look or glass skin look is realized . And frankly it’s a very appealing expression. Of course Eldridge is highly effective in her work . Her experience is gold.
watching your videos and listening to your voice is like meditation to me! I also looove the way you are applying make up and touching your face... no harsh rubbing .no tucking ..just sensitive very soft and light touches
Wow thank you Lisa. This is first you tube makep tutorial I have seen that is easy to follow and doesn't look like caked on makeup. The full glassy look you have looks very sophisticated. Thank you for sharing.
I so much enjoyed how you did your version of the glass skin, Lisa! I'm from the Philippines and let me tell you we are still not over Korean beauty! 😄 It's fascinating how trends just seem to rotate in different years and in different parts of the world. 😍
A perfect tutorial for me as so many of the types of products (different bands to the ones you use, Lisa) are in my 'daily bag' of items for use, in order to enhance my skin and keep me feeling modern and uplifted. Given I'm older that most of you out there, I'm grateful that I've always spent time, money and tenderness to my skin. It' makes a huge difference to the finished product of any makeup application. The 'Glass' look is perfect for young and old alike. Often less is so much more, particularly as one ages, or just wants to look as fresh as possible. Thank you!
Lisa you've no idea how very much your tutorials help me. You're the brilliant makeup artist to the rich and famous yet I feel you offer that same incredible knowledge to me who could never afford even a trip to Sephora for a makeover that would not even come close to what you offer. Thank you for taking time out of your days to make these tutorials for women like me who are really no-one in the real scheme of things. Thank you so so much.
I avoided this video because I’ve watched Japanese Glass Skin tutorials with the many, many steps and I’m using matte finishes and have for years now. But you became so beautiful and so much more beautiful as you did this and the final result is so gorgeous and it’s exactly the no makeup look I go for. I’m seeing photos of myself looking too powdery now and I’m looking prettier with no makeup or after I wash it off so this is the direction I need to go toward. I love that you controlled the greasy “I just applied Vaseline all over my face, see how dewy I am” look. THIS IS PERFECT. This is the look I want. I think it will photograph well on me. I’m all about the skin care and less about the makeup but I’ve been wearing it lately with disappointing results. Thank you.
How much was it? Since she mentioned it's still a bit expensive. And, was it worth it?. It sounds great but I wouldn't wanna buy something that didn't work as great as it looks. Sorry for this many questions BTW 😆.

Thank you Lisa!
I’m a college student and I really have to say I love Lisa’s makeup tutorials. She has enough that are very dramatic and awesome for going out/date nights and a lot of natural but elevated looks, which are my favorite. I really want to thank you, Lisa, for helping us girls out that don’t like to wear obvious makeup but enough to look perfected.
I love korean skincare approach, the thing impressed me is that they use products less commercial than the ones we have in Europe, for example.. essences are so popular among korean girls 💫 To me their skins seem like pearl ( in old paintings a pearl couldn't be distinguished onto the perfect skin of a woman)😆
@@dragonfae2753 when I was a teenager I used rice starch (I cooked it and used the starch left on my face). It really helped me to calm and purify my skin 💫
Love the moisturized, soft skin look! After a gentle exfoliation with my Missha sponge in the shower, I massage my moisturizer into my face, then I massage the lilac Becca primer or Armani nude pinky primer over that. If I am feeling pale and want color, I blend a little of an Armani color sheer where I want it, then I finish my skin with RMS Living Luminizer. So easy-breezy and gives a natural, low-key glamour. And I adore all of the Clarins lip oils, especially the tangerine one. That applicator is the best. Love!

Loved this glass skin look. My neice is the production manager on the Bakeoff, Rebecca Wootton. I will tell her that you watch it. She will be thrilled.
Thank you Lisa for yet another beautifully executed tutorial. I've watched probably all of your videos over the years you've been on YT, and one of the things that comes through consistently is how you emphasise that products and techniques need to be adapted to each person's individual skin tone/type/lifestyle etc. To often when I was younger I'd see a lipstick/blush/eyeshadow etc. on someone (be it a friend on in a magazine) and rush off to buy it only to find it didn't look anywhere near as good on me or simply didn't suit me fullstop. It's great to have these reminders that we are all different and it pays to experiment and take the time to figure out what your skin actually needs/which colours suit - can end up being very costly (and at times a bit demoralising!) otherwise.
I’m always so inspired with how you use your brushes; you’re so light handed and gentle and you always end up with the most flawless base. Thank you for This video, This is a true example of what it means to be a makeup *artist*
Thank you so much for teaching us a simple-to-achieve makeup routine (that works for combination skin) that is practical, long wearing but looks utterly natural and flawless.
Had a shit day at work, love the fact i came home to a Lisa Eldridge tutorial. When i first saw it on my subscription list, i said outloud "relax me Lisa" which you never fail to do, as well as educate me. Thank you.
I've been doing a glassy/molten look happily for weeks now with CT's Flawless Filter. I mix with moisturiser and put lightly all over the face including lips and lids. Add creme or liquid blush a la draping style - and add everything else as needed for the day. I absolutely love it. I have even been known to pop a little on before bed so that I awaken with that filtery look! Although I'm older than you, I find it so youthifying, provided it's used with a careful eye!
I think the universe is helping me to feel good about myself. Yesterday I saw an article which said the new lazy girl's haircut I'd pick by default was the trendy cut of the year. And now I find out that the look I've been doing so I could spend more time on skin care is also a thing. ( : Cool! Thank you for showing me how to amp it up and for such a flexible look for everyone. Love you! xox
Look at our brave and edgy Queen, not only slaying her skin with a magnifying glass after an enthralling late night viewing of Great British Bake Off, but also serving up some ASMR vibes at the 11 and a half minute mark. I would love to rock this glassy-skinned look, but I am currently living in Italy and after being inspired by Ms Katie Jane Hughes to lather my skin with Weleda Skin Food, I might have to give this lovely look a pass - the sound and feeling from having to peel my cheek of my friends' faces after we have exchange greetings is not one I want to repeat in a hurry.
I totally forgot all about your channel because youtube makes it hard to see real youtubers like yourself but ive always loved your videos and im glad ive come across your channel again. youre a beaut
You are just brilliant at everything you do. Like your other subscribers i just drop everything when yiu upload. Your passion for natural beautiful skin is inspirational.
so many good ideas! mixing liquid highlight w//blush...I have started wetting my brush lightly and taping it into my blush and I like how it looks on my skin. I am tired of the "matte" craze going on...especially matte lip colors...doesn't look appealing at all. Much rather the glossy natural look on skin and lips.
I like the matte lips myself but not when there's already a heavy layer of matte foundation and concealer. If you do a natural shine or a glossy skin base, I feel it adds a nice contrast in texture, same if you do the reverse. I think we really need to back off the excessive highlighter and crazy eye looks though...It's getting a little out of hand; everything feels over the top, when layered altogether. (But I do have great respect for the time and talent it takes to create those kinds of looks.)
I love that show!!! I'm in the states, but I love a LOT of BBC shows. I know it's a few years old now, but over the last few years, I have been obsessed with the Supersizers Go series! Ugh!!! Love it! My husband gets tired of how much I've watched it.. -Cheryl

I like how she integrates k-beauty. K-beauty is not all about using korean products, it's all about the technique and the process.
One of my favorite tutorials of all time! And best “glass skin” tutorial thus far.
Is the video for different types of dark circles coming? Waiting for it ! Especially dark and dry skin 😫👽
I’m always so inspired with how you use your brushes; you’re so light handed and gentle and you always end up with the most flawless base. Thank you for This video, This is a true example of what it means to be a makeup *artist*
I'm tempted to get that powder! Never heard of anything like that before!
Sriabitha Mohankumar Me too. I hate normal powder, would rather use blotting papers.
You can also dab a setting spray on a sponge to set :)
I have it. A company that makes it is called Mally. The product is called Skin Defense? It’s in a pinkish purple compact.
Thank you so much for teaching us a simple-to-achieve makeup routine (that works for combination skin) that is practical, long wearing but looks utterly natural and flawless.
Lisa, I'd love a review on the foreo ufo after you used it for a month or so, I've seen mixed reviews but I'd trust your opinion over any other ❤️
What a master class of make-up! 🤗🤗😍😍😍
Love this look! So healthy looking and it suits you so well 😍 thank you for this video!
Lisa, you can ramble as much as you like, you've introduced me to many products I never thought of trying
Aaaaaaand I just found my new go-to look! 💜
Had a shit day at work, love the fact i came home to a Lisa Eldridge tutorial. When i first saw it on my subscription list, i said outloud "relax me Lisa" which you never fail to do, as well as educate me. Thank you.
OH LISA PLEASEEEE FEATURE KEIRA KNIGHTLEY IN ONE OF YOUR VIDEOS
I've been doing a glassy/molten look happily for weeks now with CT's Flawless Filter. I mix with moisturiser and put lightly all over the face including lips and lids. Add creme or liquid blush a la draping style - and add everything else as needed for the day. I absolutely love it. I have even been known to pop a little on before bed so that I awaken with that filtery look! Although I'm older than you, I find it so youthifying, provided it's used with a careful eye!
This is very signature Lisa Eldridge.
Love you! xox
You look so stunning in this makeup ♥ Greetings from Poland!
Dear Lisa, I love your approach to make-up, always making sure it's well blended and effortless, it's a pleasure watching you paint faces
You‘re simply the best 🎤🎼 !!!!!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️
From one of your earlier videos I learned to only apply base/face makeup as needed and NOT everywhere. It really looks much better.
Look at our brave and edgy Queen, not only slaying her skin with a magnifying glass after an enthralling late night viewing of Great British Bake Off, but also serving up some ASMR vibes at the 11 and a half minute mark. I would love to rock this glassy-skinned look, but I am currently living in Italy and after being inspired by Ms Katie Jane Hughes to lather my skin with Weleda Skin Food, I might have to give this lovely look a pass - the sound and feeling from having to peel my cheek of my friends' faces after we have exchange greetings is not one I want to repeat in a hurry.
quadbox your comment sounds so elegant, I feel like I need to acknowledge that. 😂
Ooooh, I just saw this now. I always get carried away in the comment section! 😂 Thank you! 😘
Ha! I just bought Skin Food on KJH's recommendation too!
Haha! The price to pay for glassy skin- very sticky skin!!
The Rae Morris Invisible Mattifier completely blew my mind! Such a fantastic look!
so many good ideas! mixing liquid highlight w//blush...I have started wetting my brush lightly and taping it into my blush and I like how it looks on my skin.
-Cheryl
So beautiful look Lisa! Could you please recreate the Keira red lip look soon too? Also, that shirt 😍💕💕
Kris I would like to see the Keira look too!!
So many channels about glass skin, and only Lisa does it for me. She is the best, the rest aren't.
Peach and Lily sheet masks are a quick cheap and easy way to get glass skin; just wear one for a long time the night before! They're like three dollars at CVS and literally chock-full of good ingredients :)
Lisa, you are by far in my opinion the best makeup artist.
I've been waiting for a tutorial like this forever!
CandidLynn I loved this tutorial too! Such a beautiful look! 💕😀
Thank you Lisa, for this in depth glass skin tutorial. I absolutely adore the fact that you have put the emphasis on skincare and skin prep, rather than only the makeup application. I always learn so much from your tutorials ☺️ X
Hi Lisa, I am very intrigued by that Rae Morris non-powder powder: similar products that you would recommend? Maybe cheaper but also easier to find (I live in Italy).... Fantastic tutorial, as always!
I wish I could thumbs up your videos a million times. A true artist and a true beautiful space.. No drama like... No games... Like you know 'Who who who' haaaaaa .....and who... You're the real deal. Love you!
Lisa would look really good with short shoulder length hair! Kinda looks like it in this video
Lisa Eldridge, Queen of Makeup!
Still the BEST!
❤️😃
I was up till 5am last night on a TH-cam Korean skincare deep-dive! And then I see this in my Notifications!.. it is a SIGN! I really hope the days of full face insta-makeup with 5 layers of contour and 7 pairs of lashes is coming end! This is so refreshing! thanks Lisa! P.S.
Also if you liked this I'd recommend checking out the video on the Harper's BAAZAR channel with Korean artist Pony and her OTT skincare routine called "Pony's Nighttime Skin Care Routine" its pretty ExTrA but the results speak for themselves
Lisa, I am glad I found your channel, so knowledgeable and yet so relaxed to hear your Brit accent. Also love the series of make up of celebrities. Thanks.
Yes! Bake off at 1am! It is important to watch before spoiler!
