It depends really on what your needs are, if you need the headphones section go for the GT version, but it you want a pure upgradeable DAC then chose the X8. HTH.
Yes, I would think so, the aune DACs tend to be slightly on the warmer side of neutral, which is good as personally I find Monitor Audio a bit on the bright side.
I think they have good build quality but they supply illegal UK Power cords that use copper coated aluminium cable, illegal mains fuse as well as plug which uses the conventional 3 pin iec cable but with a shrouded earth pin and with very thin neutral and live pins internally and not solid metal.
Hello which one do you recommend between the two? I already have a amplifier but not sure if I should get the x1 gt or the x8. Thanks ahead of time.

Hello, how are you? If I want it only as a dac and use it with a monitor audio MR6 and a cayin LA34 is it recommendable?, Thanks
Hi, the X8 do you mean? Yes it is a DAC.
@@EdenAudio I mean is it a good option for use with the MR6 audio monitor and the cayin?

Lighting is a bit dark
Yeah, it is a little bit isn't it.
it is compatible with ps5?
I don't know the ps5, sorry
it's not compatible, but you can use an smsl po100 pro and connect to the aune x8 via toslink or coaxial (with astonishing results)
