I did NOT understand the end boss. I'd swear the version I played was glitched or something. There's times I'd have super fire powerups, be nailing at him for 10 minutes, and be like, "IT'S BROKEN, HE DOES NOT DIE!!!". Then one day, emphasis on "1", I encountered him, in micro form, with just the weakest fire... and HE DIED ALMOST INSTANTLY. I really, truly, do NOT understand wtf was up with that...
Dragon Saber could also be the 3rd game in the series if you count the NES port of Dragon Spirit because that port actually takes place AFTER its original arcade counterpart

I first played that game on August 16th 1990 in a mall. I first discoverd the PC-Engine in France, my country!
Wow! The first time I played this was in a restaurant in Puerto Rico. They had a cabinet. Played it with my dad.
I was rejoiced to start from a nightmare by this longplay and am jazzing up with joy.

FC版と違いPCエンジン版は難易度高めでしたね。特に最後のボスは強かった。私もPCエンジン版をやってましたが、結局最後のボスは倒せずに諦めてしまいました。今ならいけそうですが、ゲームのハードとソフトは手放してしまったので。残念です。

Nes version > PC Engine version for real they couldn't even fit stage 7 and 8 in there and the sounds effects and most of the music pretty much sucks.
