I may never build a model from scratch, but I have found that the detail you add to your builds have gone a long way to adding increased realism to my kit ships. Thank you for that. Well done
I've never used a rope walk. I've been fortunate to always have the right size line. If you want to see a good video on making rope, try Olha Batchvarov’s video on the subject. Also, Chuck Passerro from Syren Ship Models I believe has a video on using his ropewalk. Thanks for watching.

Again, Tom a great teaching video!

Thanks, Tim
Lovely video. I make coils by using double sided sticky tape to hold the rope while I coil it. Then apply white glue and transfer when dry.
I tried using the two sided tape as you describe, but I just couldn’t get it to work. Not coordinated enough. Thanks for watching.
All ways enjoying watching your videos and learn so much from them.
Glad you’re enjoying them. More to come.
Tom. Have you ever covered making three strand ropes using a rope walk? Or was the rope used in tubs purchased from an outside source?
