My Dad, before I was born, had made a replica of our house, including the detached garage, driveway & landscaping. When I grew up he gave it to me so that I’d never be far from home. I miss him so.

The best time in my life was when i had my own room/space to build miniatures and work on dollhouses.
My grandmother won blue ribbons for her miniatures back before you could look up info on the internet and learn. All self taught.

Tiny homes look like they’re better constructed than regular homes
I live in UK and the new builds are ridiculous the house I grew up in was an old Victorian home with pretty high ceilings they bought it for 90k in the 80s, now in my home town a 1 bed hamster cage in a high rise with a 2 foot square balcony is £500,000 😂

@@giampaolomannucci8281 the amount of time dedicated is easy to take for granted. Many of these projects take weeks to complete. the same people who think these are quick and easy are also the same ones who don't get the time and effort investment in drawing.
Not just the actual building was a lot of work. The editing of this very video was a doozy.

I love it! I'm a woodworker that built a few post and beam scale models for our company when we set up at home shows so I had to build a small lumber yard before building the post and beam barns. I appreciate the craft of miniature.

My Mum uses to do this when we were kids.
She made a castle and used plaster of Paris.
The brand she used was Linka bricks.
It was nothing compared to yours.

Pero me salió bien moderna, hice living/comedor 🛋🪑, cocina con su mesada ,bacha y canilla ,baño🚽🧻🚿 y habitación con su roperito🩱🥻👗👚👡👠🥿👒👛 para Barbie 🛏 y sus hermanas 😅
Usé cajas , elementos de plástico, maderitas y elementos de metal para la construcción, ejemplo: las varillas de un paraguas que ya no servía🌂, para hacer los rieles de las puertas corredizas.
Hasta les hice una cabina telefónica fuera de la casa ☎️💚

That house is indeed pretty basic. 2 bedroom at best. Very unimaginative. It could be three bedroom if you kept them all tiny and didn't care about the only bathroom being downstairs.

The cool thing about videos, editing, and movie magic is that not everything has to be done all at once. But you can edit the video to make everything seem like it was done all at once. So for those of you who say you don't have time, why don't you make time for those things instead of just watching videos on TH-cam? You can start building something for even just 5-10 minutes throughout the day. Add more time if you have more to spare. You also don't have to do it every single day. I'm working on a miniature build, but the kit is from amazon. I started a month ago. I haven't finished it yet, but I can come back to it. Same goes for this
