Man, isn't it amazing just how far CG technology has progressed? The PS5 version of Venom probably has as many polygons as the entirety of the PS1 Spider-Man game in total! Love the sculpture, nice contrast!
"Surf the web! Surf the web!" The memories I have of PS1 Venom are still with me 20-plus years later. Loved seeing the side-by-side comparison of these two!
I love it so much. Showing two different Venoms on two different consoles is the most creative and artistic style I’ve seen. I wanna see the same thing with Spider-Man now.
Aside from the amazing contrast between the two, I've never seen a model of a PS1 character that actually looks like it does in the actual game. Only Steven Richter could pull that off. Another amazing build!
I loved the way you recreated the polygonal model so much, that it made me want to see how you go about making another sculpture of an N64 video game character
This is coolest creative project I’ve seen today!!! OG status !!! The original Spider-Man game for the original PlayStation, is low key the most legendary story game of all, the fact that it also included carnage and doc octopus - carnage was super duper. Also you got venom not just as an enemy but the ally Spider-Man needed. Great work, love it!
Oh my gosh, that's amazing! That's actually a really cool thing you've done here. It's a literal physical side-by-side example of the same character, with one side in PS1 era graphics and the other in PS5 era graphics. It can be used like a teaching tool to show people who want to understand the differences in graphics just how different they are. And personally, as a HUGE Venom fan, I would absolutely love to have that sculpture! I would do anything for it. I have been in love with Venom ever since I was a child watching the Spider-Man cartoon from the 90's and playing the PS1 Spider-Man game that the one side of Venom is from. Oh man, my whole life I have hunted for things about Venom and now I don't have a single thing I used to have. I would cry if I could somehow get a sculpture like this.
Wow! Absolutely amazing! I love Venom, and I have never seen anyone do anything like this. Thank you for giving me a great start to my day, now it’s time to make some monsters. ❤️
I first experienced Venom in a Spider-Man game in Spider-Man 3 on the Xbox 360. Even though I didn't get to know the first Venom in gaming, this is very well done. I do wish I had this talent but effort costs so much patience and I can't afford too much of that.
So glad you posted something new up needed to watch something entertaining cause my dads been going off on my mom so i tols him off and stuff needed this all your videos and Garudas very soothing and comforting And excellent work as always
Se eu tivesse metade do talento desse cara, com certeza, já dava pra tirar uma onda. Sem sombras de dúvidas um polímata moderno. Aprecio e admiro pessoas com tais capacidades.
So cool when you see things from animation/video games translated perfectly into real life.

Most likely his model alone has MORE polygons than the entirety of PS1 Spider-Man game
@@ВладиславБулаев-л3э Is that not what I said?
@@ВладиславБулаев-л3э
But he just said that ....
@@ВладиславБулаев-л3эevery model in the game combined may be half the poly count of venom alone in that PS5 game, it's nuts
it probably has 10000x more polygons

This is so sick, that PS1 Venom was such a great idea I’d love to see that done with other characters from other games!
Basically Daran Norris vs Tony Todd
PS1 Snake vs PS3 Snake
agreed @@MetalGearPrimus
Definitely one of your most creative and unique concepts! Keep it up!
Man does this bring back memories I remember the PS1 Spider-Man's venom and the new 23 Spider-Man 2 venom looks freaking awesome
Incredible idea! It will be cool to see more low-poly sculptures
Lara Croft 😂
Spyro
SM64?
Crash Bandicoot
I was thinking about Gman. Imagine his HL1 model next to his HL Alyx one
I love it so much. Showing two different Venoms on two different consoles is the most creative and artistic style I’ve seen. I wanna see the same thing with Spider-Man now.
Dang...Talk about a class between generations. You truly are the best, Steven.
23 years of video games in a single piece of art.
AMAZING.
This is SO GOOD! They genuinely are just like the 3D models from the games just physically! 🤯💕
Well done this must have been hard I hope you don’t stop

Bro, the game one looks sooo cool, its like you directly pulled it from the game , amazing job.
The fact that you always make these things look so easy, shows what an absolute master you are at your craft. Amazing work
You never disappoint, your stuff is always amazing!
Amazing work this is the best sculpture of venom I’ve ever seen 🤩
This proves how far we have come in graphics.
I loved the way you recreated the polygonal model so much, that it made me want to see how you go about making another sculpture of an N64 video game character
Man this is a masterpiece. The amount of nostalgia that just hit me is insane. keep it up man
What a way to honor both versions, honestly i think its astounding you managed to bring PS1 venom (3d gaming in its infancy) to life so well
Definitely a trip down memory lane with that classic ps1 venom🙌🏽
Dude I would definitely buy this right now!!!

That ps1 polygon venom looks exactly like the video game 😮🔥
@Stevenrichter.. really? let me hear it
This is so cool. I haven’t played either of the games, but I really like both versions of one of my favorite villains.

One word. SICK!
This guy so good he practically sculpted that with no hands
The best part is when the result actually added in the thumbnail
direct hit on the nostalgia.
