Yep. When I first saw them in 2009 and 10 (when the band was called the Big Sleep and Drive Like I do, and they were babies). They were the support act for another band. They looked so pissed off and beat down that no one was listening to them and talking through their whole act. I spoke to Matty afterwards and we chatted for ages - such a nice dude. Hey Matty, you’ll never see this but this band and the music you’ve made has become bigger than you. You are a huge part of why and this band has changed the world. You’ve done it. Despite everything, you’ve done it. Thank you.
At first, having heard the acoustic version Matty did, I was disappointed by this live version. Then I loved the record version. Coming back a couple months later, this is so good as well!
I saw them in Michigan almost 10 yrs ago. Matty was super addicted to heroin, and my $14 ticket at a small club was still a train wreck. I loved them but it was hard to watch. Seeing him in AZ yesterday made me so happy. He faked stumbling and falling because I saw the real thing. It was bitter sweet. I'm so happy he's in a better place! I was worried for like a few seconds then realized it was an act. They literally were just on a black stage with lights in the past, lol. What a different show!
I can’t find the right words but…this band…these individuals together 😮💨♥️ I so need them in my life. Thank you, for so much more than sharing your music but you gave me confidence❣️

Getting married next year to the love of my life and I am definitely going to convince her to have this be our first song to dance to❤
this song is the most sincere they’ve ever written. and it hurts.
Such a great band with their own sound and style. They are a genuine team, matured and honed over time. I hope they never break up.
Recently discovered The 1975 and hope they remain together forever.
Hey Matty, you’ll never see this but this band and the music you’ve made has become bigger than you. You are a huge part of why and this band has changed the world. You’ve done it. Despite everything, you’ve done it. Thank you.
Their comeback is really something i get addicted again to their songs i go back to band music again❤️
loving you too deeply makes me sick, and when I'm sick I found this song.
At first, having heard the acoustic version Matty did, I was disappointed by this live version. Then I loved the record version. Coming back a couple months later, this is so good as well!
I've been seriously thinking about dancing to this beautiful song at my wedding 🥺❤️
This might well be my favorite single released thus far. Perfection again, boys
Every song is a beautiful piece, an architect of perfection...
It’s beautiful, it’s calming, it’s soft, it’s gentle, it’s amazing just like a singer who is singing this song❤❤❤
So glad matty humbled himself and got cleaned and shit. Dude is growing and I’m always here for it
I saw them in Michigan almost 10 yrs ago.
So he’s sober now?
Beautiful how he says "why don't people speak what they mean"... Truth! And should be a lesson to so the sheep
This is an extremely beautiful performance. Vocals and instruments. It's giving me strong 70s vibes.
I can’t find the right words but…this band…these individuals together 😮💨♥️ I so need them in my life. Thank you, for so much more than sharing your music but you gave me confidence❣️
Love how at the end he picks up the water instead of the wine...he's come so far 💗
wasn't his wine cup
@@UniTruePCorn I know but it's the fact there isn't a wine glass there for him too xx
Love that they’re keeping most of the videos black and white this era. So nostalgic.
I'll always be a fan, Lads, much love from Australia
They just get better and better. What an album this promises to be.
Always count on the 1975 for feel good songs
Sit in my kitchen with nothing to eat. Best 1975 lyric ever
Exactly what I needed today. The 1975 will forever be my favorite band. 💙 love you Boys, keep it up!
Love for The 1975, increases more with every new song.
Dare I say this may be my favorite era! And I’ve said that about them all! BUT WOW! This one is like the all the albums combined and a bit more mature! (In all the good ways!) It’s fun, it’s deep, it’s true timeless talent! 🖤🤍🖤🤍🖤
I highly recommend the album “Absolutely” by Dijon if you dig this sound. The vibes are almost exact, clipping sounds, pedal steel, etc.
What an incredible master piece, this is pure art reflected into a song.
These guys are the definition of “gets better with age” 🥺
The perfect song to relax all the senses after a hectic day at work 🍷
by far, my most favorite song in this album
Matty Healy is such an amazing talented singer/dancer/musician/guitarist. The 1975 band deserves World's Top band never disappointing to the fans because of their incredible music good to listening and watching of all time.
I would say absolutely deserves
'The Oscar winning band, The 1975'
😃🥳👌👏
