Wow this is the best translator. It makes a lot more sense than the google translate.
I think Thai people in general think America is like in Hollywood movies.

Alots of them are dumb and brainwashed!!! When I go home I always told my family how hard America is.

Some very interesting misconceptions in my opinion. I have lived in Thailand for a very long time and feel freer here, though I can imagine that Thais might feel more socially constrained in their own country and imagine things would be freer elsewhere. I am old school and not sure I would like using a machine to talk with people.

As Thai middle class person i agree with you perspective. Of course we can't compare are country to America in terms of technology but I don't think we're less freedom than America. Some sensitive issues yeah we got censorship by are government but it isn't things that every country have? Every country always had them own sensitive issues.

You know nothing about San Francisco outside of a few secular blocks you're fed images of by whatever lousy source you get your news from. Go look up recent live tours and drives through neighborhoods in San Francisco, then figure out whose the clown that's been fooling you.
It's like seeing a broke down Southern trailer park with inbred's and thinking that's what the entire South is like. You can't be that dense.

@@DT-gs3wibro I can replace “Thailand” and “Thai” in your sentence and it still makes sense. Both places have good and bad sides.
Americans come here and only (and to only) experience the good side but we have to experience all of them.
Just like Thais go to the US and experience only good side there.
But please be acknowledged that Americans can travel/stay here like 6 months by using only their 2-3 months paychecks I’m not exaggerating but Thais have to work half-whole year to travel there for 2 weeks.
So pleaseeeeee know how good you have

So young and innocent. Wait until they actually live in the US and regret their decisions due to food and housing inflation, higher crime rates and severity of crimes, lack of access to affordable, high quality healthcare, divorce rate greater than 50%, around 40% of women have children out of marriage or domestic partnerships, and unjust family court laws yielding punishing alimony and child support deductions. Lastly, six out of 10 Americans live paycheck to paycheck, which is more prevalent for genY -- a generation of 70% live paycheck to paycheck. Welcome to America!
