CR500 TRX's have been built in the early 90s; ATKs were wicked as well, along with Tecates. Sorry, but Suzuki never got much love from me, RMs were a different story though. You will understand if you know the terminology.

I guess that's what it was made for so in comparison it would probably make sense to do what you say. If money were no object you could buy/import one here to the states but you're talking an easy 20k plus after freight and tarrifs.

The three wheeler thing is for the animal that just has to roll like that or I personally think a tamer way to control the power although that's debatable.
Now you just gotta make it safe and put a twist grip on it!! Thumb throttles made them not safe!! Still Own a 86 250r everybody thought I was crazy to put a twist grip throttle on it! I wouldn’t ride one without it! She’s still running!!

I LOVE the sound of a 2 stroke but don't really like the reliability. Had a Zilla and cr500 but went to a Raptor and KLX-650. From constant maintenance to occasional oil changes. I do miss that sound and power band though
I used to race Motocross back in the day and supercross I highly recommend you guys getting velcro refreezable neck ice packs they Velcro on it's like built-in air conditioning it cools down your carotid artery you will be ice cold
Ive always been curious about the mechanics of the three wheelers, does the rear drive sprocket drive both back tires and if so how does one tire turn slower while turning
It's my favorite bike of all time. Grew up on built 250R.. this bike is a beauty.. The only thing I'd change is put a wrist throttle on it, then it would be perfect

Well nice job !!! But the problem is the vibration from that motor will vibrate your hands off and all the pretty parts on this build. I know i built one. Ran it for years on meth. Plus overiden trans
