I enjoyed your review of this film. I watch this every year on Christmas Eve. To me, the music really sets this film apart. It's a creepy dark film, with a great twist ending!
The Gray Market Safari I never understood the hole Pewdi thing I mean anyone could do what he dose.....oh wait they do and they are more entertaining than him
Chris has some Swedish heritage so maybe we could give him some asswipe tweaker juice (pretty sure that's what Pewdiepie drinks) and maybe we'll be at his level.
Robert Harris Of course, of course, but every decade has its upsets. Sometimes shit just lines up and explodes all at once because the time's just right, or wrong.
"...it's on every single horror movie compilation ever." I have exactly one such compilation containing 9 movies and I've had it for years. I had to pause the video to look and, sure enough, it's the first movie on disk 3.
Valdagast On the fourth day of Christmas, my Siamese brought to me Four French Hens, Three blind mice, two Turtle Doves, and a Partridge from a pear tree.
“How old are you?” “Oh, you mean how many years have I lived?” No, she meant what’s your favourite colour OF COURSE SHE MEANT HOW MANY YEARS HAVE YOU LIVED
Don't worry Snob, when religion is involved, people forget about everything else but immediate context, especially if they disagree with you. I didn't forget about Strokemon. ... I could never forget. I still lay awake at nights. I'm still shocked there's something more horrifying than ET the porno...
Ah, another 1970s "browner downer" movie, where the film stock is so faded that all the colors have been reduced to different shades of brown, all the better to match the bleak, depressing, nihilistic tone. And isn't John Carter supposed to be on Mars?
Despite copyright strikes, the ghostbusters war and the most polarizing and outright bizarre presidential election possibly ever: this was all in all a great year to be a snob fan. Thanks Brad!
I thought there was a second twist while watching this, but I was clearly wrong. I thought we end up finding out maryanne was not killed by the escaped patients but actually taken in by the guy who ends up becoming the mayor, meaning Diane finds out SHE is maryanne and she just shot her real father. All they would have needed to do was make Jeffery look 15 years younger than Dianne and they could have made it work.
It would have been a tad ridiculous, but also very interesting. This film is weird, I think it falls flat in many respects, but it’s so genuinely atmospheric and moody that I can’t help but love it! Black Christmas is my all time favourite slasher and people say Halloween owes a lot to that film, which is true, but Black Christmas in turn owes a fair amount of its technique to this film, even though it was executed far better in the former.
So... dead incestious father was the killer? I feel like I missed the main idea of the movie, it's so confuding I might even watch the whole thing to figure it out...
Well, technically mine was yesterday, but because no one was around yesterday to do anything with I had to wait until today to celebrate with a friend, but I digress. Happy birthday, youdontneedtoknow!
This film was released on VHS in the 1980's by a well-known company called Paragon Video Productions where they put out a series of B-movie horror films and stuff on home video, and also the same distributor that did "The Apple", a really bad musical that he covered two years ago, and that was on VHS when it was released around 1983 or 1984. I found this logo which was at the very beginning of "Silent Night, Bloody Night", the original VHS release from about 1984 where the Paragon Video Productions logo appeared out of nowhere. th-cam.com/video/EWvQcl9WJhs/w-d-xo.html
In the vast infinite reaches of space, it is statistically very probable that somewhere out there is another Earth parallel to our own in every single respect save one. On that Earth, you posted a comment that makes sense.
The guy who said Cap was a double agent didn't read the comics. Cap was actually an Hydra agent through and through. You see, Red Skull from the presenr went back in time to the 40's and replaced the 40's Cap with a Hydra agent, trapping the real Cap in a pocket dimension. So the Captain America that was awakened by the Avengers was, in fact, a Hydra sleeper agent, and ended up going toe to toe with the real Cap after he was freed from the pocket dimension.
I legit think the minor key rendition of ‘Silent Night’ is effective and terrifying.
Indeed
"Silent Night, Oldboy Night"
All my love forever, Brad!

I honestly thought it was better than I expected. that black and white part is still haunting.
I honestly dont know how he doesn't have more subs, great work as always...
Rafe Adler
I agree he's better than the Nostalgia Credit
Everyone's busy subscribing to PewDiePie because they think he's fucking brilliant.
The Gray Market Safari I never understood the hole Pewdi thing

The Gray Market Safari I doubt that there is no force on earth that could help him unless death was the case
"People had better things to worry about in 1972"
(Googles the year 1972) Holy shit, we did. Everybody, everywhere. WTF 1972.
Talyn has time the 70s were shit.
Robert Harris I don't know, MASH was pretty good. Chico and the Man. Disco. Led Zeppelin. David Bowie. Pet rocks (pfft lol).
Talyn has time theres always a few good things in every era. But there was a lot more bad then good.
Robert Harris Of course, of course, but every decade has its upsets. Sometimes shit just lines up and explodes all at once because the time's just right, or wrong.
Don't you mean wtf 2020?
"...it's on every single horror movie compilation ever."

Dude, there's snow on the ground. Stop drop and roll.
Dude, it's stop... drop... shut em down, open up shop.
Oh, no,
That's how Ruff Ryders roll...
Be cool about fire safety
400KrispyKremes that's what I said!!! 😂😂😂😂
*Snobby voice*
Finally an episode that isn't a religious movie!
The sad part, that wasn't an acting gig for Gary Busey. He just showed up wearing that outfit, and wanted to shoot someone.
sounds about right
Hey, that's how they filmed Gingerdead man!
Merry Xmas Snob. Looking forward to what you come up with next year...
New Snob episode!! Oh the joy :) xxx
On the 1st day of Christmas, my Siamese brought to me... a partridge from a pear tree
Valdagast On the second day of Christmas, my Siamese brought to me two turtle doves and a partridge from a pear tree.
Are they Harry Turtledoves?
Crowley9 Yes. 100%
On the third of Christmas, my Siamese brought to me three blind mice, two turtle doves and a partridge from a pear tree.
Valdagast On the fourth day of Christmas, my Siamese brought to me Four French Hens, Three blind mice, two Turtle Doves, and a Partridge from a pear tree.
Brad summoned Allison with the magic of Dean Stockwell
Superb cinematography.
“How old are you?”
“Oh, you mean how many years have I lived?”
No, she meant what’s your favourite colour OF COURSE SHE MEANT HOW MANY YEARS HAVE YOU LIVED
Maybe she wanted to know how many days he'd lived, or maybe weeks, or months! You have to check on these things, you know?
For some reason, I read your comment in Kevin Murphy's voice.
Ah, I was bored and then I saw this video and you saved my christmas or something. Thanks Snob!
Don't worry Snob, when religion is involved, people forget about everything else but immediate context, especially if they disagree with you. I didn't forget about Strokemon.
... I could never forget. I still lay awake at nights. I'm still shocked there's something more horrifying than ET the porno...
James Kelly why are we still here...
Now see.. that's why Elliot Gould ran over John Carradine: since his hands were cut off, he wasn't able to ring a bell to tell Elliot "STOP THE CAR!"
I wish he'd used the clip of Dianne Wiest from Independence Day blowing up the house to end the episode when he was naming reviews from this year.
I need this guy in my life when I watch movies!!😂😂
"... worse yet, it has mold!" lol I love this guy so much. How is this channel not even breaking 100K subscribers?
156k subscribers now:)
I was hoping when he brought up Bushwhacked it would just cut to the title from the trailer.
It's 1972!!! Take lots of Quaaludes and vote for Nixon. It's 1972, hey!!
And then in eight years it'll be the 80's. Where we'll be able to do a lot of coke and vote for Ronald Regan.
Lol now people vote for trump and take Xanax .
Ten points for that reference.
There’s now gonna be Silent Night, Bloody Night 3
Silent Night Oldboy Night might be my favorite line in a Cinema Snob review
First video I’ve seen of yours. You’ve grown on me rather fast. SUBSCRIBED!
Yay, I knew if Brad kept putting up quality videos, one day Absolutely Everyone would subscribe. ;p
That opening music makes me want to celebrate Christmas in the cemetery.
Wait you mean you don't??? It is the be way to celebrate!
No it makes me want to kill the former insane asylum patients that brutalized my daughter after escaping a mental asylum myself
Ah, another 1970s "browner downer" movie, where the film stock is so faded that all the colors have been reduced to different shades of brown, all the better to match the bleak, depressing, nihilistic tone. And isn't John Carter supposed to be on Mars?
I’m kind of odd. I like the moody feeling of this film. I work from home and put this movie on in the background from time to time.
I always enjoyed the atmosphere of the movie more than the story.
I saw it i was about 10, on Elvira's movie macabre on KTLA channel 5 in LA, Yeah , this movie stuck with me, eerie and somber I'm 52
Despite copyright strikes, the ghostbusters war and the most polarizing and outright bizarre presidential election possibly ever: this was all in all a great year to be a snob fan. Thanks Brad!
19:20 Oh man, there's so much shade I need night-vision goggles.

always love the snob videos :) can't wait for Dancin' It's On sometime in 2017 if that is still happening
Damn it Brad, I really thought Elliott Gould was in the movie.
I can't tell if that's the Snob in a Grinch onesie, or if Walter White really cut back on his HAZMAT suit budget...
Me: *is about to write snooty comment*
Snob: "... Lloyd Kaufman produced this film..."
Me: Nevermind; proceed.
"This is one fantastic Bioshock Infinite cutscene", nice reference there.
could not stop laughing.
Merry Christmas Brad
allison's cameo was adorable
Great review. I don't understand the film but damn fine score.
why do people in movies always forget stop drop and roll dude was literally crawling in water
Fr
So... dead incestious father was the killer? I feel like I missed the main idea of the movie, it's so confuding I might even watch the whole thing to figure it out...
Why's the titlecard artwork of Bryan cranston in breaking bad?
this made me laugh so much ;; thank you for making my day!
Great, you made my day!
@12:37- Missed opportunity, Geoffrey/Jeffrey Butler and no Fresh Prince joke?
Every time I see the scene at 1:49 I think, "Life sho was hectic before stop, drop and roll!"
This literally just came on TV and it was called DeathHouse hahaha
"Thank you, Don Hector."
XD
Great review! Saved me an hour and a half
I love you Brad.
If this review was 20 to 40 minutes longer , then it would definitely put me to sleep. 😅😮 🙀😹
As soon as he mentioned Dean Stockwell I knew Allison had to make an appearance.
I watch this one every December along with Bob Clark's Christmas movies.
You're right Snob, I forgot you reviewed Ghost Fever
i spent a good five minutes laughing at the line "silent night, old boy night"
How the fuck have I not seen this before? I have such a strange admiration for this film.
LOL i once had a guy on the bus show me his maniac card hahah he was an outpatient from glenside
Donald Tramp wasn't a religious film?
Tara only below the bible belt and most of Wyoming
Mmm. Church
Your Grinch costume reminds me of a radioactive protection suit
New Snob? Best birthday present ever.
Tobias Christopher hey, it's my birthday too!
Well, technically mine was yesterday, but because no one was around yesterday to do anything with I had to wait until today to celebrate with a friend, but I digress. Happy birthday, youdontneedtoknow!
I'm still waiting for a review of Black Christmas(1974), just to see The Snob pop a blood vessel over the actions of inadequate cops
Geez, if he thought the goofy cops in the original "Last House On The Left" were maddening... XD
CHRISTMAS DAY!!!! Oops, wrong movie lol
Why didn’t that guy roll around in the snow to put out the fire?
...and A TALKING CAT!?!...and Captain America 1990...and A Halloween Puppy...
anyone who can make a legit "Frankenstein Island" reference is good people.
Last time I was this early, I was a human.
What are you now?
He has become on of us!
It's Friday the 13th next month. You know what that means :)
You Mean Jason Takes Manhattan Review
majdo007 jail
Death scenes censored by MPAA
...Nicholas Cage Month!
Can't wait for him to review Jason Takes Manhattan. He'll have fun with that one, I bet! The jokes will be comedy gold, I bet!
Color by DeLUXE, awesome
Mary Woronov is so hawt.... Mary.. Virgin Mary?? You did it again Brad!
Man, women had nice hair back then. Being chased by a crazed killer is no reason to let your appearance go!
The only reason I have this movie is because it came as a "bonus" with one of those Bob Rivers Christmas parody CDs.
Wilfred did know he could've just turned around and put out the flame with the snow
Love me some Lupa.
I don't know, I for one found Grease 2 to be very spiritually fulfilling.
Yeah, it's not that bad at all, really! ^_^
Well now that you mention it, 2016 was a good year for Snob episodes at least.
That picture of Butler from the beginning looks like a really fucking creepy Kevin Spacey...
Lloyd Kaufman film and a hit and run scene with no head explosions
What's on the table for 2017? Silent Night, Lonely Night starring Lloyd Bridges and Shirley Jones?
Would you ever review David Hess's To All A Goodnight (1980)?
Wait, the killer was the guy who died in the beginning!?
Why does an on Wilfred screaming at the start sound like Mickey Mouse getting a happy ending?
I hope Allison got money, for her cameo in the review.
Fair use, she doesn't get shit
Trinidad Botello What was that about anyway? Didn't get that reference at 5:00
Silent Night, Old Boy Night.
Now I think the Snob really needs to Review Sgt. Kabukiman NYPD... The trailer alone is hilarious.
Did anyone get a Pureflix ad before this?
Katie Baily I saw one last week during Midnight Screenings.
Haha! You mean fuck-yeah-David-R-White -Pureshit- Pureflix?
No, I got Wal-Mart promoting Rogue One.
Katie Baily I got a Final Fantasy ad.
please do reviews of the remake and it's sequel 💜 love your videos as always 😄

Hello Brad, any chance that next year you could review Crackerjack 2 with Judge Reinhold?
It looks hilarious.
Well at least something good came out of my depressing week.
So when is that lawyer guy going to teleport to Mars and jump around a lot?
In the vast infinite reaches of space, it is statistically very probable that somewhere out there is another Earth parallel to our own in every single respect save one. On that Earth, you posted a comment that makes sense.
I'm torn between telling you to Google 'John Carter' or letting you live in blissful ignorance... Although the alien language was cool.
Koen Van Damme Oh, yeah! I forgot the lawyer was named John Carter. Alright, you get a pass for now, but I've got my eye on you... (no I don't)
I don't understand why the Lupa laugh. I know where it's originally from, but I don't know how it applies here?
How long did that last shot take you? Golly gee whiz, Turkish Batman.
Somebody somewhere needs to review A Very Supernatural Christmas
Gee, doesn't that title just roll off the tongue.
Was it really accidental when he didn't even try using the cold wet snow to lay on?
So this was made before Black Christmas? For whatever reason, I always assumed that was the first Christmas horror flick
The guy who said Cap was a double agent didn't read the comics. Cap was actually an Hydra agent through and through.
