I prefer to think of it as his evolution. He started on the floor with terrible lighting and has ascended from ET pornos and Shot-on-shiteo's to snobbing God Himself! (Or Pureflix rather)

From shampoo bottles and red food coloring, based on the consistency of that "blood" in the clip he showed a minute earlier.
scitechian it was a joke, he was implying that they used the blood of homeless children as this was a Italian film and one directed by Lucio Fulci the same man who in Zombie/Zombi 2 had someone in zombie makeup fighting a real shark.

This movie is crazier than a bag of frogs... And I absolutely love it.
The depiction of hell seen at the finale might be my favorite depiction I've ever seen in a film.

That opening really highlighted all the hard work you have put into the character and series and it's really paid off. In another life, you're living the kind of career I wish I could have pursued. those practical effects in this film are pretty sweet
I had a double feature with this and Gates of Hell tripping acid with my ex-girlfriend.

You're one of the only reviewers I know that has maintained a consistent style and quality (although that can be said for a lot of fantastic people from Channel Awesome). You're still probably, above all others, my absolute favourite critic on TH-cam, and a huge inspiration to us film reviewers. Congratulations on 10 years of this wonderful show.

I watched "The Beyond" for the first time recently, and it's really good! Certainly flawed, but definitely worth watching... although probably not while eating anything.

Really random, but this came on during Thanksgiving with the family, and I stayed to watch it with my Dad. I can now say - I see why the Snob watches movies like this. So much fun.

Ten years is such a feat! I'm sad I haven't watched from the beginning, but I'll always remember finding your videos in 2013 and thinking, "Man, this guy's voice just gave me an eargasm."
They say you never forget your first critic, and I've found that to be true. No matter how many reviewers I watch, with their intellect and analysis, my heart always takes me back to the porn and exploitation of the Snob.
The librarian is an older time-traveling Tommy Wiseau.
It is great to see the Brad be actually sarcastically snobby. I love him riffing all the time but taking a jab at movie critics is always a nice change.
ACTUALLY, I think Shreveport is used as a filming location more often than New Orleans proper.
At one point it was the 3rd most popular city for filming in the USA, with Los Angles and New York leading by a large margin.
The reason Shreveport is preferred over New Orleans is because it's in Northern Louisiana, where the weather and climate is a little less chaotic and a number of buildings have architecture similar enough to fool people who have never been to the city.
Granted, they still go down there from time to time because some things can only be found in New Orleans, but the city is called the New York of the south, and it shares a similar kind of busyness without the expectation that parts of it will need to be shut down for filming.
Dude the rare occasion where i've actually seen this movie before you reviewed it. Excellent episode, and I hope you're here for another ten years!

Well now, so much for me thinking that lady in the bathtub of acid in Slaughter High was the most avoidable "death by acid" scene in a horror movie.

This is my favorite Fulci film next to Zombie. Great spooky score, creepy as hell atmosphere, great gore effects and a downbeat ending, what is there not to love.
This doesn't count as a real anniversary episode because you didn't do any time travelling.

I discovered the Cinema Snob in 2014. Wish I had discovered it much sooner, but I've made up for lost time. Its one of my favorite shows, and I look forward to it every week! I introduced my grandfather to the Cinema Snob, and I pretty much turned him into a fan. We have a great time watching the show together...
The Cinema Snob is one of the shows that inspired me to do online reviews myself. Brad, if you ever see this comment, I just want you to know... Your show, your movies, and almost your entire body of work has been a huge inspiration to me. You and Doug Walker are my favorite reviewers. I could not have accomplished what I've been able to do in the past two years if I hadn't discovered you guys!

And fun true fact, I've actually had a pet tarantula. Two in fact. Did the scene with the tarantulas unnerve me? A little, but not too badly. While they are dangerous, and you definitely should be careful when feeding them... When you get a chance to really observe them, you'll see that they're actually kinda cute...
This movie is legitimately good in my opinion. Fulcci really knows how to create some terrifying atmospheres. I love the way hell is portrayed at the end. No horror movie has ever come close to scaring me. Not that this one did, but it came closer than anything else.
