Shoutouts to making Mario somehow more of an unhinged gremlin than he is in the actual game
It kinda says something about how good the whole stream if literally 50% of the total original streams became the highlights
this entire event was incredible, but none of the boss fights made me laugh more than yaridovich. the voice, the insults, everything about it was so hilarious

Hey, don't diss Internet voice actors. A lot of the people on this cast list *were* "just Internet voice actors" for several years before making it into the industry. Back in the day, I used to watch a lot of Chris Niosi, Dani Chambers, Kira Buckland, and Daman Mills in a lot of fandubs and fan animations on TH-cam and Newgrounds!
A lot of other big VAs nowadays are in the same boat. The 2000s and 2010s were fully on Internet voice actors and fandubbers that became professional voice actors in the present day.

I just wanna say that Mario/Chris Niosi did a phenomenal job improving all those classic Mario sound bits based on the context of the scene. Also, Mallow's voice is exactly the way my 8 year old brain imagined it back in 1996.
My mom helps fulfill wishes for Make a Wish, thanks for putting this together.
I love all the voices they used for these characters. Mallow is my favorite he sounds so cute

This stream was perfection and what a worthy cause. You should do a charity marathon #2 and reprise your roles for the Super Mario RPG Remake. I just beat it! Love the game and these performances.

Parkers Bowyer voice is amazing. Sounds just like the animated version of the Mad Hatter from Alice In Wonderland.
After this interpretation i see why keegan got to play toad.

This is a National Treasure and you all did a fabulous job voicing the characters! I even found myself laughing to some of the parts, seriously keep up the awesome work
Actually if the remake is any indication, that Toad really DID have a bazooka he forgot at home because that line is still there in the remake.
In the end... I was both saluting and crying, the fond memories of this game will live with me forever.

I absolutely love that they got Captain Vander Decken to play Johnathan "Johnny" Jones. Next time I replay the game, that is totally gonna be the voice I hear in my head during those scenes, now.

So cool but I always thought Culex was an amalgamation of the worst bad guys from final fantasy.(Or for that matter VG Version of Virtuosity) That picked FF6 (3) Kefka to represent himself. I mean look at his battle sprites from here and the remake and then look at Final Boss Kefka FF6 (3) I'm sure everyone would reach the same similar conclusion!

@@Kirbopher15 naw I get it, I was honestly surprised on who else you got to be in the cast, I had Parker Simmons be Jinx the tiny martial artist in monster town, and even the guy who made OK KO, Ian Jones Quartey, be Jonathan Jones in my dream cast. For Ben I can imagine him going all “Axem Rangers, Battle Stations!” I also had Zeno be Axem Green in my head
With how well the remake is selling, maybe you can do another charity dub, if not the whole playthrough then maybe the new post-game content

I'm only 17:14 in and I was *not* expecting that voice for the Toad who asks how Mario's gonna deal with Bowser O_o
I'm not gonna lie, this stream was undoubtedly amazing!!!! I've just completed the remake/remaster of the game and I have to say that this stream has made my first experience so much better (I've never gotten the opportunity to play the original). Hearing you all voice act the dialogue as I play through the story just made the adventure feel more alive and interavctive, all the bits and laughs added more to it making me fall out of my chair at one point.
All in all thank you so much for creating the Super Mario RPG music videos that got me into the game and had let me know what I was missing out on all these years.

Just finished watching this. Ya'll did an amazing job! i had many laughs and this game is my childhood favorite game, i'm so glad you pulled this off and it all went to a good cause as well. i am so glad i ran into this video, I had my gallbladder removed on Nov. 16th 2023 and the recovery has been a very rough ride. I have been excited for the remake and it is amazing. Chris Niosi you and the rest of the cast have made my day. i hope you all have made your goal, but if you did not make it then that's ok because it is all worth it and going to an amazing cause. one of my favorite fights in the entire game is fighting Culex and my favorite game moment is the whole scene with Gaz and playing with him. It would have been awesome if you did voices during the " Happy Parade Delighful Parade " scene. I thank you all again for giving me the laughs that i needed and for bringing me back my memories of this game.
Okay this amazing. I wish the Remake was dubbed.
