Love your video man I’m working on a 66 lone star mustang with a 650 Yamaha videos like this always get me pumped up for doing the work and yours even has great music!
Great job building the boat. Cool idea with the older classic and Im sure you are having fun. Its cool to build your own things with your own two hands. Im sure your kids will learn that their dad is a special person. Not many dads can do such things.
Thank you... It still runs Great too. One of my coworkers bought it and they used it alot over the last summer. I got a larger Jet drive that is going to go in our 1964 Glasspar G3. I just need to get some time to do the project. I watched many of the johnboat conversions and man are they quick....
Hands down best boat build I've seen so far, and I've seen a few lately. Makes me wanna start today. So hard to find build time and budget stats. Thanks for a hell of a presentation. I wanna start today!
Thanks, one of my wild hair plans. I have a 60's Glasspar G3 I am debating on doing another swap with. Just using at least a 900 cc engine and larger jet drive.
nice!! i love a project outside the box.be carefull i didnt notice a rudder(sorry if u added 1) so u will have the same shortcomming as a jet ski driver -no control wen u cut power. hope u havin fun.ive often imagined wat i would do with a discarded jet ski engine.id modify the p.t.o and add a shat and prop and rudder
Nice job bud. I have a 14' starcraft Alum. deep V and a 600cc rotax that I want to mate. I was worried that it wouldn't make the 25 mph that I get from the 25 hp merc that's on it now. After watching your heavyweight get the job done, I can't wait to get to work on it. I've always wanted a jet to get into the big bass holes here in Florida but could never afford one. Wish me luck eh?. Once again, nice job and thanks for the video. Peace.
I'd have blended the new with the old a bit better in the stern so it didn't look like a boat with a jet ski shuved up its ass so much but otherwise a very good build!
@blondesarebomb The videos make it look faster than it is. We clocked it with our other boat and it ran at 25 mph with 2 adults. Thanks for the comment....
Great job Mum n Dad!!!
Excellent job.

This looks awesome and performs well. nice job.
I seen that trolling motor thinking there is no way in hell that trolling motor was pushing that boat that fast
Very nice work! Picked a cool boat to use!

Favorite.
Do you have plans or is just cut and do it if you have plans I would like them
Trolling motor?
That was a great build. It's faster than I would expect. Do you still use it?
We like to fish and it's better than a paddle if you have an issue on the water.
That's sick,top job
From Australia
Our draconian laws here stop that sort of freedom and engineering .
Grant Ryan Don't feel bad, our Draconian laws prevent us from having cool diesel Hilux's, Land Cruisers, Rangers, BX50's, and Terranos.
Really nice job! Hows the boat holding up? how do you tackle low speed and reverse? Is that for the trolling motor?
