We addressed a lot of what we need in the draft, size, wing defense, 3-pt shooting. I think pat is trying not to entangle us in another mediocre long-term contract just to do “something”
We have a 7 footer, with a 7-4 wingspan, and a 36 inch vert. We got better with just him.

Spida and Heat have "talked" already and I believe that they have an agreement already, here's what that agreement was.... Spida keeps silent and not asking for a trade from the Cavs so that the other teams make some moves which makes it impossible for them to sign Spida when he finally asks for a trade (by the end of the trade deadline), Miami knows this because they already have an "agreement" with Spida. Once Spida asks for a trade by the trade deadline Miami swoops in and offers the two 1st round picks that we have plus Tyler, Jaime, and Jokic. This forces the Cavs to accept the offer because this will be the best offer at that time ..... booom!!! That's how we get Spida!!!

Last season was the “run it back year.” Miami should not run it back. Also we should not let Jimmy leave for nothing. Miami should aim for superstar, if Miami fails, than they should blow it up and accumulate picks.

Some people are so impatient that they rather give up too much to get a new player at the cost of the future. Now that Mitchell resigned, the Heat will pivot to another star guard since they drafted a big to pair with one. Its better to wait a year for a great chance to build a dynasty than to blow it up for a couple of good years with no assets after that. Only bad teams do that.

Herro is 24, a proven 20ppg scorer and a top 10 shooter in the league. Darius Garland numbers are almost identical and he’s making 50M per year
