I feel bad for Kyle Flip and Johnny Furphy. Green room invites not drafted on Day 1. This is why I’m a firm believer in draft prospects not returning to school to improve their draft stock. I remember Kyle was projected to be a top 20 pick last year. For him to not get drafted in round 1 in a supposed weaker draft must be a gut punch for him. I hope Kyle and Johnny gets drafted into a great team situation in round 2.
It will take 4 year's for Furphy to become some version of George Niang, or a poor version of Danilo Gallinari. I will hope and pray he can become as good, or better than Danilo.. My Pacers picked him, I wasn't to thrilled. I wanted guy's who can play right now. Especially defensively and has a shooting upside. Honestly I liked Klintman and even Jaylen Wells where they picked him.. Later picks I liked Jamal Shead and Keshad Johnson. Furphy has a great shot, I give him that.. But they talk about his "off ball," like he's some Steph Curry. I get you're trying to point out some positives. But the dude only takes a couple steps. Lol he's also the thinnest 6'9 guy I have ever heard of. He won't be guarding anyone. I'm also not seeing a guy that looks as if he even likes to play defense. Doesn't play with tenacity, just a rythem player. Idk that he's going to hit the same % shots. When he has NBA talent checking him.. Those are my biggest issue's. I haven't seen a lot on him.. but by what I did see. Definitely a stash guy and he will have a lot to prove. Plus he's white, so that takes off some points. 😂 Kyle Philowpakoskisiskkwllolpi. Looks to be another liability defensive player.. Maybe much worse since he's also 🐌 and will get slaughtered by most NBA C's with his lack of Defensive presence. Maybe he can use his body against some of them in certain situations. But outside his offense inside, idk about anything else. He doesn't shoot it well enough, or with the right release to be a stretch big.
As a Wiz/Bullets fan, if other teams took these players, it'd be an amazing draft. That guy who is the host needs to stick to it. Tired of my team being minimalized on national television by other people, they have done a good enough job of doing that in years past. This is a new regime. Chin up, we could still have Ernie Grunfeld.
Yeah that take from the host on Washington taking swings and misses with no vision makes absolutely zero logical sense. With that being said, if I was covering the Wizards for the past 5 years I would have some gripes too haha. Dawkins barely had time to prepare last season for the draft and came out with what looks like a blossoming player in Couliby who's primary trait was defense coming out of the draft. The pattern is there, build a defensive team with offensive upside that has length and athleticism. Imagine if we get Cooper Flagg who's an impeccable defensive player next year too. This new management group is night and day from what we had before. It's similar to the football team, the national media has a hard time letting go of the past.

My Wolves knocked it out of the park, trading up for Dillingham and Shannon Jr. They have a nice blend of offense and defense now. We'll see how they gel and build off their run this last year. 🐺

I get the feeling that the Hawks will regret not getting Reed Shepard. Something about this kids 3 point shooting reminds me of Klay Thompson and Stephen Curry.

Atlanta is consistent. They screw up every draft pick they get....bar none. Should have gone with the UCONN Center Donavan because this guys is a great defensive player who can run and has size. These people have no idea of what they are doing.
why are international player are dominating the NBA and now the lottery draft as well? i believe is a mental issue - domestic prospect are banking on their chance being drafted because they are American and their unwillingness to prove they are the best as long as they get the money. the international player believe they have to prove they are worth the selection so they give their best to prove that!
It's just the nature of the draft, it's like back in 2005, 2006 when the international players was back to back #1 picks, like next year the draft talent is top heavy with American players.
Yeah but who gets on a team with Lebron? Im glad my favorite player went to the Lakers. Maybe he lost some money but he is in a great place! Awesome! Dalton Knecht!

I think the Rockets pick is dumb because Reed won't get to thrive like he would on another team because the Rockets are guard heavy unless the plan on trading Fred Van Vleet, they could've got a shooter out the free agency. This had to be an organization pick, because he's not an Ime Udoka type player.
