I’m happy I kept my silk scarves. They have not been out of the drawer for some time, but now I tie them on bags, around my waist and of course around my neck😊
A color combination that I love is a deep indigo (navy) with black. It’s unexpected and chic. I do this in fall and winter with denim and wool, and even in summer with linen and denim and touches of white.

Navy or other dark colours can soften all black outfits while still being slimming and chic!
After years of being a stylist(hair) and wearing black? My wardrobe at 55 is pastels, neutrals and jewel tones. Have a wolf cut, wear silver, and I'm feeling very fashionable right now! Thank you! 😘 😘

Since I eliminated pastel colors and stick to neutral shades in my wardrobe I receive compliments all the time . I'm over fifty and feel really good about making everything more simple . Leave the crayon shades to the lovely young ladies .
I have a collection of different wash/different sleeve length denim shirt dresses from Levi's and Gap which I'm glad I never gave to charity. At one stage I thought I was too old to wear them (I'm 58) but I'm glad I kept them. A shirt dress is the skirt equivalent to a jumpsuit and imo easier to wear and very flattering as it's monochrome dressing.I fancy a little leopard print bag, so far I've only bought a skinny scarf in leopard print but I need a bag too

Yes, please do a low or no heel COMFORTABLE shoe video. I wear Vionic and Clarks. They don't have very many fashionable ones but I try to find a classic one that I can wear with most of my outfits. I am tall and would like to find a kitten heel shoe but hard to find one that is beautiful and comfortable. Even Vionic ones hurt me. If you know of any, please let me know.

I have now seen a few programs aimed at women of a certain age. Why do I feel that it is imagined that as the years pass you have to adapt to what society expects of you and not celebrate the journey through life you have been on. A person with there own style is so much more interesting than conforming to what others think you should wear. I’m 61 i have worked in the fashion business in the past and I can honestly say that true beauty is way more complex than just the exterior.
Well I’m 50 and my audience around this age too. 😊
I think this video is for everyone, regardless of age. It may be funny, but when gadgets show proposals for different age groups, I always choose the 50+ 60+ ones. They are simply a timeless classic that appeals to people of all ages 😊
Me too, not quite at that age group yet and I want my wardrobe to be more timeless.
Also feel the women who create content for women in their 50’s and 60’s tend to have more warmer and less pretentious personalities, that you generally don’t tend to find for younger women.
@@MsActor2009 I agree with you. They don't shout at the viewer, they don't jump - they behave like classy adults. It's much nicer to watch. And in such films, fashion is fun, an element of life, not religion. Nobody here treats any trend as something you can't live without. It's so nice and relaxing. Glad the bob is coming back! I used to think it was a boring, conservative, suburban “mom” hairstyle and a hairstyle my mother forced me to have. Now it I think it looks sleek, modern and healthy, especially with a pair of jeans 👖 and t-shirt!

I love black but it does make me look washed out. So I substitute charcoal grey, which gives a similar impression but is softer, and goes with most other colours.
