I can never get enough of Dame Joan
Wow! After every phrase Joan sings, there is like a pregnant pause, because of the absolute beauty and perfection of what we have just heard! Something about her tone... Absolutely remarkable!
Maestro Anson Austin great lovely tenor ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Her entrance at 20:55 just ends me with laughter. How she plays the comedy is amazing. But that sound....can we just take a moment to swoon at the sheer magnificence?
That High Db and the sword toss at 28:10 was incredible! So many vocal acrobatics in this opera! Brava Dame Joan!
Gave me so much life - thanks for the call-out on that one.
It's a joy! Thank you very much
Je veux m'engager être des soldats français comme vous
Amazing Sutherland ❤
Amazing Mrs. Sutherland is so much loved
Nothing like a 60 year old canteen "girl."
Brilliant. Aside from Dame Joan, it’s wonderful to hear Anson Austin in his prime.
no kidding! I never heard of Anson Austin, who, I take it, is best known in Australia. Terrific!
I like Joan Sutherland.
2:27:15... her timbre so warm, and touching here. Her voice, in it's twilight, floating on the air effortlessly. The sound stirs feelings in me I cannot convey with words.
Thank you
Thx for upload
