Following the tragic death of his former girlfriend - seemingly caused by his own attempt to save her - Peter Parker (Warden Wayne) lingers in his guilt of the past, questioning whether the curse of his alter ego should be buried for good. Gavin, even after all the controversy facing a young man like you, I am grateful you are still going forward with releasing this movie. I am just happy that you addressed the outrage in a mature manner and apologized. The only thing we can do when we have done atrocious things in the past is to confront them, apologize, and move on. You don't know me and I don't know you but it is amazing that a fictional character is able to bring so many people together. I want to say thank you for the stuff you and your team have created so far. I have been binging the Lotus theme song a lot and it helps me get through the day. Every other Spiderman trailer tries to be exciting, but this one's powerful. The amount of references I caught, the impressive visuals, the acting, the accuracy, the heart, this is gonna make huge impact in the character's legacy! I'm honestly still tearing up. Can't wait until Sony & Marvel see this masterpiece. I know Stan Lee and Steve Ditko are watching from above, feeling nothing but proud of you all, thank you.

Not a comic book reader it seems, cause by what I saw there were tons of references to comic books I've read; including "Spider-Man Blue" a comic where Peter records his feelings for Gwen on tape and also shows how everything led to her death.
Some of the other references, go straight to the 60's comics.

Sad to say, but this teaser trailer is better than the actual movie.
I LOVE how this isn’t some action packed mess and it really focuses on how spider-man can save people in the same ways that everyone else should on a daily basis (even while balancing his own problems)

That line and the goblin laugh at the end sucked me right the hell in ! For fan flim perspective. This cinema gold from the vibe and feel I got from this trailer this kid has a deep love for movies and production so let's see what he's got !
That line sounded off to me, it should of been " not because I have to but because I choose to" hes choosing the harder life of the hero because of his responsibility as a hero and how his uncle brought him up, him saying because he has to sounds selfish kinda like someone helping you because its thier job and they get paid but the second theres no money they nowhere to be seen.

@@bigwhopper6501 well that’s the thing it’s both. Peter has to be Spider-Man and he chooses to as well. Though I think him choosing better represents an older and more mature Peter. I think him saying he has to perfectly aligns with peters character and what he’ll be going through in this movie. At this point he really doesn’t want to keep going but he has a responsibility he HAS to be Spider-Man and as he gets older he still has to be Spider-Man but he matures into a mindset of yes he has to be Spider-Man but he also chooses to be Spider-Man he chooses to be the best possible version of Spider-Man he can be. Spider-Man is a symbol of growth always showing us we don’t have to settle we can continue to push no matter the situation and come out stronger than we were before.

I just love how personal, and heartbreaking this feels. Most seem to forget that superhero’s are beacons of hope when directing films. They focus on the action and fun which is cool. But seeing something like this getting made is just jaw dropping.

Despite the controversy the production of this movie is still dealing with right now, deep down, I still want this fan-made movie to come out. Let's just hope that all that effort that was put into this movie does not go to waste any further.
This is exactly how I feel. This honestly looks good, and the visuals released by the effects team a few weeks ago look absolutely astounding.
The backlash is deserved, it shouldn't come out with the actors that causes the drama.

Plus a lot of what was apparently leaked out there turned out to be fake anyways. Plus the VFX people and the cast and crew who I can tell worked really hard to get this movie made.

If you asked me to guess the plot before I clicked on this trailer I would never have been able to guess this. A grounded, personal story about Peter struggling to live up to his legend instead of over the top action and spectacle. This is spectacular

Look, I’m not gonna lie, what Warden said was pretty fucked up. And if it happened as recent as people say it did then there should be some punishments for his behavior. But putting all that aside, I don’t think anyone will disagree that this fan film looks fucking amazing. Anyone who says otherwise is probably just talking out of hate for Warden’s, well, HATEFUL, actions. Also, Warden wasn’t the only one attached to this project. So boycotting would be hurting the other actors and crew who did nothing wrong more than it actually hurts him.

Looks really cool, so it seems like it's pulling directly from/meshing together ideas from Gwen's Death, that Webspinners JMD/Romita Gwen story, Blue, Kid Who Collects together into a big emotional ride. That's quite the array of direct inspiration and with the passion going into this, I think we're all in for a treat. Arthouse Spidey!

I always wated Sony to focus on Peter's Psychological condition after Gwen's passing away and him not being able to save her. I wad looking forward to see that in The Amazing Spider-man 3. And I also aspired to see the small budding romance between him and Mary Jane in the future. Thank-you for focusing on such an important aspect other than villains and action.

@@ryaimo well the webb's TASM 2 was taken over by sony and most of ideas which webb had for the film, I am sure the suit wouldve looked far different than we saw in the film and the pacing of the film once again wouldve been more mature rather than seen as Garfield dancing under a Sony goofy comedy and action

What I like about Spider-Man is that, even though he’s a fictional character, he is still a real hero in a way that he inspires a lot of us to be better and do the right thing.
