What about "every room has a random amount of tiles" challenge?
Whenever you start a new room, you randomly pick the amount of tiles the room has to have. You have to decide what room it is before you randomize it. Imagine having a 10 tile bedroom and a 20 tile hallway.

@@kristal9190 I still have my vision! Blindness is a spectrum. I have very low vision so I am considered legally blind. For people who don't have any vision, there are great technologies that can help them write and communicate.
@@kristal9190 there's apps (and even on the phone itself) that help disabled people. they've been around for a few years, i thought everyone knew about that. blind people can type.
They could have also spoke the message and it could have auto typed

The color scheme of the house outside reminds me of Perry the Platypus and that brings me so much joy.

I love building in the Sims; at the moment I'm doing your spooky shell challenge although it takes me a long time to build so I don't know if it will be ready to add to the gallery in time. i dont like the orangeish wood tones as much as the others but i use it SO much bc it has the most matching swatches;-;

I grew up with the orangey wood in a cheap 70s home, so it feels homey to me.

Build challenge idea that you’ve probably already done: randomize budget, then randomize how much of that budget goes into each room.
This turned out better than 18k starters. It’s a cool style and turned out nicely furnished, really impressive

better yet, use (the empty version of) the hospital bassinet from debug - it's free, it functions, and tbh i use it pretty often just bc i hate basket-style bassinets for most house styles

I first saw this build when watching the latest rags to riches and I thought it was one of the "I rebuilt newcrest" houses because it looks absolutely stunning! I love the way it looks from the inside & outside and would love to actually live in such a cute little home.
9:45 You also could have placed the front door to where now the shelf hangs.
Maybe make the toddlers room a bit smaller and the other siblings room a bit bigger (Oh, she added furniture, now it looks fine).
If it feels weird to have the front door so close to the toddlers room, move the room to where the former front door is, so that you enter the toddlers room trough the living space.

In real life baseboards and crown moulding is cheap because it's an easy way for builders to cover up small gaps or mistakes. if they don't have something to cover the corners everything has to be absolutely perfectly matched.
This house is so cute! The landscaping and the outside wallpaper was done spectacularly. I also love that you added that little gnome I love that little gnome. That and the one riding the chicken are the best in the game no lies here.
I actually really liked the idea of this challenge! It was fun for me to watch because the house ended up being super realistic, especially with the budget and number of sims!! Good one Kayla

Next time you do one of these it would be cool to see you randomizing separate budgets for the house and it’s necessities and the furnishings!!

I have an idea you could do. You take one essential item for a room (+ one for the outside). Randomize it, and It's color. And then try to build the room around that item.
So better hope that one essential thing matches the other room's style, or you could get a really funky house.
For a bedroom, the bed is essential. Bathroom, well, it's the toilet cuz half baths are a thing.
The living room that's the sofa and study that's the desk as for kitchen it's the fridge, cuz you can get food from it regardless of having a counter or a stove.
You may do other rooms as long as you think the most essential item to put in this room.
I call it; the Essential items choose my build challenge.

I love a good budget build and simsie is good at them but she does it all the time so I would love if she would branch out more :)
i have a challenge idea , what about you put like say 7 rooms in the build , then you go to a wheel and put whatever those 7 rooms you want to ( dining room , kitchen , study , etc ). Say you wanna make the 1st room a living room right , then you spin the wheel , if you got example kitchen , you need to decorate the living room with kitchen aplliances. if its not functional , its fine ;)) ALSO , theres no moving back , if you got study for the bathroom , then YOU HAVE TO DO IT KAYAK
If this can help for builders block, I recently tried to build an eco friendly farm house, like reeeeally leaning in to the eco lifestyle stuff making sure the walls and roofs and everything was eco friendly. That was a fun challenge :)

This sort of challenge would be cool if you set a different amount of cash for each room individually

You do realize those beds are uncomfortable right lol?? I like to use those eco lifestyle beds - the big ones, that are really cheap. And they're not uncomfortable. There's even multi person tents you could use (toddler age and up), and then you wouldn't need all of the beds. Maybe just like one inside. Just a little thought it tip lol.
I never use those beds for that reason. I hate seeing the constant uncomfortable moodlet from the sims!
She always uses that bed and I hate and never use it 🤣

Need a build challenge? Have you considered re-creating Lego sets in the Sims? Some of the creator expert modular buildings are very detailed inside and could translate in a fun way!

I have a challange for you! The challange is that you’d have to be at the beach and then you can tap at the sand, and search for beachcomb pop’s up and you can get stuff in your inventory that you can sell

I have a chronic condition that slowly takes away my fine motor skill/coordination and have always had horrible eyesight. Learning about able gamers from you has given me so much hope

Idea: Mega Wheel Challenge.
You build a house shell. The first spin gives you the category restriction: either room color, style, or budget. Second spin determines what your subcategory restriction is (ex. If your category is budget, your sub category is from 100-10000.
At the end of the challenge, your house looks… INTERESTING, or is a complete nightmare 🤣
Building a lot using only ___pack (no base game even aside from walls and roofs of course)
So like you could use only paranormal stuff or only cottage living etc.
Not necessarily a house cause they don't all have beds but any cute lot that serves some kinda purpose. Maybe pools should be allowed too not sure hmm

This orange flooring is the same color and looks like one in my school and dorm room(they keep adding the horrifying amount of paint layers on these wood floors... I think at this point the paint layer is thicker than actual wood...)
