Puto Bumbong [No Bamboo Steamer Need]

- Puto Bumbong is a steamed purple rice cake that is commonly sold during the Christmas season in the Philippines. They are brushed with margariner,topped with grated coconut,sugar and sometimes, grated cheese or condensed milk. and heres the easy way to make it in your home
All we need is
3 cups of glutinous rice flour
1 cup of regular rice flour
1 tbspn ube flavoring/color (Mccormick or bakersfield Flavorade)
3/4 cup water
1 tspn pandan essence (optional)
margarine for brushing
sugar/condensed milk
cheese
grated coconut (niyog)
