1. It varies depending on the amount of daylight it gets. But the least the panels generates is about 5000 watts. 2. 300 watts aren't bad if you can afford. The higher the size of the panel, the faster your batteries gets charged 3. If you buy just the inverter, you'll need to purchase a charge controller as well. The hybrid inverter comes with that built-in. An advantage of having a different device servicing as a charge controller is that, it works effectively than an in-built one 4.to make sure your batteries are not fully drained, try to monitor the level of the batteries from the charge controller or the inverter. Alternatively, having adequate batteries and panels, that shouldn't be a problem. Using lithium ion batteries is also better than that of gel batteries

To power ceiling fans, a mid size refrigerator, laptop, and lights, how many panels do you suggest and batteries? It's a two-bedroom house with a loft upstairs. What would be the cost of the panels and accessories? I am visiting South Afrika right now before returning to Ghana and wonder if I should import the items from here if it's less expensive.

I'm an electrician, i dont install solar panels but I do think ahead and always want to do the wiring setup so whoever comes to do the installation will avoid the hustle of chiselling, piping and stuff. Niw my challenge is the size and type of Cable to use.. someone told me to use 4mm² ×4 2c coil flex cable but i will like to ask around and get other opinions especially on safety. Which type and size of cable is recommended for solar installation? Thank you.
The size of cable to be used for an installation is dependent on the type of installation being done and the amount of power going to be generated. So I can't entirely tell what size of cable is best when i haven't seen your setup design
