      Great information, is it too late to go salor after not creating room for installation when doing electrical works? my house is electrical work is not complete yet though, they are about start with wiring this week.

      @@nanaansah1353 it is not too late to do so. Get in a solar expert to work alongside with the electricians so they are able to make provision for the solar.

      Currently you can't buy land in Ghana for freehold. All lands are sold for leasehold

    I have been using my 48v 5kw Growatt hybrid inverter for over a yr...very solid. I have a 4.8kw 48v LifePO battery pack (powerbank) also. My advice is you need as much battery as you can afford. My 4.8kw 100AH battery is only enough for my computers and devices (2 days max). The inverter may be 5kw but you should be using a max of 3.5kw load for safety.
    If you're using solar for your entire house, then anything less than 10kw+ inverter won't cut it. For the battery, I'll say 20kw+ for ECG equivalent load. Battery is what determines how long your load runs (and remember batteries are only like 70-80% efficient... best case scenario... even worse for solar panels). Also LifePO battery is what you want if you don't wanna buy battery every 5yrs or so.
    Contrary to what some are made to believe, solar at the current price is more expensive than ECG....so it only makes sense for convenience/reliability or remote/off-grid use.

      The solar system will depend on the appliances you intend to use in the house. It will be difficult to tell without those information

    • @IshmealLamptey
      @IshmealLamptey  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Depending on what is being powered will determine how long it will last. I will make a different video to explain that.
