    Hi Seth, Brilliant work on this video. I am an owner of a 1 month old X-Pro 3 and agree totally about these cameras. It sounds odd but even when I am at my desk I have the camera in hand like one of those fidget spinners, racking off the occasional frame of my keyboard!!!!! I own the larger cameras like 1DX and A7iii for work cameras and to be honest they just live in their bags, they are tools for work, not for personal or fun. That is why I wanted a camera 100% dedicated only for personal and private photography. The X Pro 3 joined the family and I love it. I take it with me everywhere I go, even to the store to get the milk and bread. I have never ever had this close a love for a camera.....yeah I know it sounds weird, its just my favourite. Thanks for making the video, great camera and photos. Cheers from Australia.

      Wonderful, all of that is wonderful! I don't think enough people carry a camera with them every where they go. Walmart or another grocery store is a surprisingly good place to get some images.

    Thanks for the video and the images.
    In my film days, I shot with a Leica M6 35mm rangefinder with 21/35/90mm lenses.
    In the digital era, I shot with an X-Pro1 APS-C mirrorless bodies with 16/23/56mm lenses. When I accidentally broke my X-Pro1, instead of repairing it, I replaced it with an X-Pro2.
    My plan was to use a Fuji mirrorless camera until I could replace it with a full-frame Leica digital rangefinder that accepted my M-mount lenses. When Leica finally produced the M10 digital rangefinder, I bought it. However, after using the Leica for a short time, I decided to keep my X-Pro2 because its images were just as good, the auto focus was accurate, and the body was very reliable.

    Thanks for sharing. I've had my Xpro2 for four years now and like you I think it's the best camera ever, just looking at it makes you want to pick it up and go shoot. I own other fuji bodies but the Xpro2 is always my first choice. I saw no need to upgrade to the Xpro3 just to basically get a flip screen (lol). Again thanks for sharing, btw your images look great!

    • @sethpotterphoto
      @sethpotterphoto  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    I guess I don't understand this TH-cam photography thing. If I was going to lavish this much praise on a camera I think I would keep it, or at least do the review while I still had it. But I keep several cameras around. Photos are really great but these Fuji cameras the colors tend to look a little like some of the fuji film which has a little odd blues and greens sometimes, at least from my experience.

    • @sethpotterphoto
      @sethpotterphoto  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I understand. Sometimes I succumb to GAS and I wanna sell a camera to get the next one. I do genuinely regret selling my xpro2.
      Colors are subjective. Personally I don’t see the blues and greens looking strange on my monitor. You’ve got to keep in mind that every screen you view is gonna have different color biases and such.
      Also I think that’s the point of the Fuji brand is to make their cameras produce filmic colors. Of course I could be wrong.
