This might be a blessing in disguise bro. Had the xpro 3, two of them as a matter of fact. On both examples I had, the little rear screen showing the film simulation went out. It’s an obvious flaw in the camera. Better to sell before that happens.
@@PatrickHRogers i'm really happy with the xpro 3. It's lightweight, durable, and feels good in the hand. Shutter sound is much more satisfying than the x100vi. The x100vi has superior video capabilities and image quality. I just couldn't find the right place for it in my kit. When I needed pocket-ability I would grab my gr3 and when I needed maximum image quality I would grab my gfx. The xpro3 + voigtlander 18mm was a better fit for me in that middle space.
You're gonna love the X100VI. Its definitely a better travel and everyday camera than the X-Pro3 and 50R. But damn it must be sad getting rid of those legendary cameras.
Dude, 2 mins in; I said, he should steer clear of the X100vi or that PRo3 is toast. I recently did a reduction of my gear and the X100vi along with the X-h2s made the cut. Enjoy the X100vi and the X-S20. Very versatile combo. Also, if you do get a chance to play with the conversion lenses for the 100 series, the wide is my favorite.
Dope images man ! XT5 owner.. X-Pro1 owner.. former XT30 owner.. former XT4 owner...and I have always "thought" about the XPRO3 but, never pulled the trigger. I think one of the things that was stopping me was, just being able to peak at the back real quick. Depending on the Fuji camera, the viewfinder isn't always the best but, I've got a weird knack of being able to peak at the back and know how that color and image is going to look on the computer later, or even if I leave as-is...the back screen is really my barometer, how I check and know. Obvs there's ways around it but, looking real quick just works. Huge respect to you for having the discipline and patience, of not having the back screen right there on demand.
Xpro3 was my dream camera for a long time. Bought it when it dropped, and I have to say its def one of the biggest disappointments in terms of cameras for me. I recently sold mine just so I could make some of the money back spent on it. I love everything about that camera, even the controversial screen. My issue with mine was the shutter response is off. I sent my camera in to fujifilm and they confirmed this issue and replaced the top plate. It was working good for about a month and the issue came back. Sent it back to them again and they said there was no issue. So for three years there was a ever so slight delay from the shutter press and when the camera actually captured my image. A friend of mine also had the same issue with his camera. Would love to see if you end up seeing this come up with yours, this was the big downfall for the xpro3 for me.
loved the video man. I have a x pro 2 and I pair it with the tt artisan 27 and fuji 35. That's all I need. I'm on a trip to Bali right now and the camera never leaves my bag. It just brings me a lot of joy anytime I press the shutter button
Great video, stunning photos too! I also got the X-Pro 3 this year. Since it is my dream camera, I have been really loving the experience. It restarted my photography, feels very much like the first time I held a camera. Looking forward to more X-Pro 3 content from you.
Definitely thinking about grabbing me a x-pro 3 & a x-t5 soon. Wanted to grab an x100vi so bad but only want it for the rangefinder style camera. Great work though brother!
nice images. I would like to know what's your thoghts on the lowlight performance of. the x-pro3 i saw some of you images are in lowlight and they look great. how much can you push a camera with an APSC sensor? thx
Don’t swap it for the x100vi bro. Def not worth it. I gave up my x100v after a few months of having it. They’re great little cameras but that fixed lens is very limiting
@PatrickHRogers you won't regret it and even if your back screen craps out, you could replace it yourself and the display isnt that expensive. I got the xh2 and x100vi. To me it feels like going back with an x pro3 but I really miss that camera!
Loving this format where you break down with sample images for each shooting scenario. Also digging the chill vibes from your video!
thank you so much!

Fantastic work
PS, subbed.
thank you so much! Pretty sure I’ve watched all of your videos on the
X-Pro3 and X100VI. Appreciate the sub!
Damn bro. Killed it start to end 🔥. I actually just went the opposite route and sold my x100vi and bought an xpro 3
thank you so much! I’d actually love to hear how you feel after the switch

Enjoy the journey with the next camera! It's all a process of searching until we find the instruments that feel like home.

Did you use a strobe for the portraits? The photos look amazing. They look like film.

I’ve got the pro 3, what are some film recipes you’re using?
Great picture! Are those all post processed?
thank you! Yes, all of these are raw images

x100vi is awesome
loving it so far!
But did you try a Leica
one day…one day haha
Just wait until he gets a Leica then he isn’t even going to remember that the xpro felt like a film camera lol
Getting an x100vi specifically for video is just dumb
Im an X-Pro 2 guy but that's just me.
i’ve heard great things about that camera!
@ I can’t walk away from the sensor
Patiently waiting for the x pro4 🥹
