Glad to see more CRX love. I just had to make a trip to Wichita to grab some junk yard jems for my CRX.

Would have been cool. Bad thing is I have been in search of all sorts of parts for my auto to manual swap, but just happened to go into a junk yard and found some parts. I may have to drive the 2 hours back again this next weekend.

for those who don't know you were talking about the innovative traction bar there newest one with the billett bars and yes you cannot conventionally bolt the splitter brackets up in the normal spot , there supposed to go where the toe hook bolts up to but with that traction bar it wont work, just asked dev sport if anyone had proof there splitter will work with innovative newer traction bar on a crx... i was worried the splitter was going to hit the traction bar looks like you cut yours to a shape to go around not sure... don't want to buy a splitter and not get it to fit right on the car, id have to bolt the holder in the same spot you did, but you should have the quick disconnect,
the purpose of the quick disconnect is also if you hit something it pulls the splitter off the car and not damage your frame rails... by the way i had the same trouble you did mounting there traction bar.

Appreciate the positive feedback cDoug. I’ve actually contemplated a couple ways to make this more of a “quick disconnect”. I may tackle that project once I get settled into my new house

I don't love that style of splitter mount. They are way too bulky and flex way to much for the cost and can be a pain to take the splitteron and off; so I built myown:

I have run mine for 8 months now and would only do two things different: use 5/16" detent pins in place of 1/4" to ease install and removal and built the lower rear mount out of aluminum. Still it only takes 5 minutes to install and remove.
The only real downside to mine is it isn't adjustable; but in reality the PCI style one isn't either as you would need a different air dam. I will probably redesign mine to make the rear slightly adjustable using some all thread.

Aslo, for the hardware under the splitter, I used countersunk bolts and thick fender washers that I countersunk. I then used a router to sink the washers flush with the splitter. For the back brackets, I just built a 1.5" x 2" bracket that I also countersunk and inset using the router.

Could you message me the link via Instagram? I can’t click it as it’s giving me an error. Yeah this is like a pci clone but as you saw I couldn’t use the QD pin anyways :/

At first I 100% felt the same. If you follow me on Instagram it was quite a bit bigger. It has grown on me I won’t lie. It’s super easy to remove. 3 minutes max
