As a Filipino Nurse who worked in Taif, i could say that Taif is a place to remember and lots of good memories there. I wish i could go back one day to visit my friends, workplace and favorite places there such as the cable car, Al Ruddaf park and Awaliv Hotel. Thank you for sharing this video atleast i could still see the glimpse of Taif. It’s been 3 years since i left. 💚

Most of the historical buildings in Taif were built more than six centuries ago and some at least two or three centuries. the oldest are from the Middle Ages, such as the Jubra Palace, which was built for the first time in the Umayyad period
Taif really changed now of course to the better about 45 years ago I used to work their specially the roads really changed. Thanks Everywhere by walk or by van and don’t remember any cablecars liked it my god what a very big change now. Thanks again.

I’ve lived here for several years (Khobar, Ha’il and now Riyadh) but I’ve never been to Taif. The Rose Festival is definitely on my list because I’ve heard that it’s amazing!
Well first of all my first comment....Amazing show ....That was an amazing showing of Saudi Arabia. Who would know reading the papers and watching the news that that place is like that. The landscape is so rough but so beautiful. When you talk about the heat over there its plain to see why the Baboons have blistered bottoms. I loved that cable car ride. I would really love to go on that ride to see the view. Very interesting place to see. Thanks Jo's ..for taking us on that great Adventure...I sure will be spreading the word.

Love this video. I lived and worked there in 200. Yes, a, few women, quietly, talked to me. In excellent English. Very friendly people. Takes me back. The souk BTW is famous for its spices. The complex with gold roofed mosque opposite where you stayed is the kings summer palace.

Amazing! Just one thing that might need to be considered by tourists is that people start going out from 5pm till late night. That's why you wouldn't see many people in the morning or afternoon. Again, most WELCOME in KSA.

I have lived in Jeddah for 12 years now and we regularly go to Taif and Al Shafa whenever we can. I often go camping in the valleys of Al Shafa and it is amazing. Really enjoyed watching your vlog. Keep it up guys.

We won't go back because of the harassment my wife got when we traveled there and how often we/she had to fear for her safety. Or perhaps they just didn't film their harassment or deleted the videos and didn't add them in this video.

Taif can get very cold especially in winter, people over there have fireplace in their houses. People outside of Saudi Arabia don't believe me that in Saudi there are place that can be so cold like that but its a real thing and most people outside of Muslim world did not know about it . xD

Taif can get very cold especially in winter, people over there have fireplace in their houses. People outside of Saudi Arabia don't believe me that in Saudi there are place that can be so cold like that but its a real thing and most people outside of Muslim world did not know about it . xD
