I can look at the beautiful cylinder seals all day. It's even more bewildering when you realize how small these seals actually are. The detail in them is incredible.

We need to step back and appreciate the amazing level of skill and technical ingenuity of these ancient people. From the massively monumental stone works seen all over the world to these miniature artistic renderings in the negative. What were the tools, implements and technologies they employed, that baffle us to this day? That is the true wonder!

These artifact were taken from the place and put in Museums many nations lost there artifacts they were stolen in wars and then bombed the library at Alexandra was destroyed by Vandals from Italy by Rome because ancient people like today do not want other culture to have history that is how empires claim lands lets hope all stolen artifacts are returned and compensation ,make money from selling tickets many indiginous culture sold their artifacts too and now they are being wiped out if we want to learn we go to that country and see their artifacts ,sanctions on Iran and many countries.

I came here to solve my question on how ... butt-f*cking a cow ... was something the government was proud of
I want to know about the thumbnail showing a man ... butt-f*cking a cow - who is giving another guy a blow-job - who is whipping the 1st guy- to butt-F*ck the cow harder ... ( as a government seal !? )
      .
NOT how far "each tile & stone of the dispaly cabinet that it now resides in, traveled & time to carve each one " ... the floor & cabinets have NOTHING to do with showing how sexually diverted this city is ... ( the beautiful tile floor emphasizes the 'workers talent' not the sxual perverted minds on 'government' documents ) - which what this video is supposed to be about ... other cities / time periods have beautiful artwork - ( they are not as sexually perverted as the MESOPOTAMIAN period ) - why is THIS TIME / CITY so more perverted ?

I’ve been a musician for 20 years and a stone mason for 10 years. I fell in love with masonry when it dawned on me that they are the oldest living artworks on the planet, which clearly served a massive purpose for our ancestors. I believe that they understood sonic levitation, it’s my life’s purpose to understand the link between vibration and lifting/cutting/transportation of massive stones.

I have to say I am glad weathly people have such interest in art and history to help preserve it. Famous painting/art works are well cared for. I am not saying this justifies looted or stolen works. I only mean if a cataclysm happens it is wise to have some portion of cultural artifacts stored widely. I don't advocate people pilfer Egyptian artifacts, rather that more investment aids nations in preservation and storage and display, worldwide. Many nations lack resources for archaeology and some countries have had historic sites or monuments attacked. It seems inequtable, yet not all can afford to take care of artifacts beyond an average individual's personal art collection.
It all needs to be accessible by the public and researchers and museums do a grand job of it. Private weathly collectors, dedecated collectors, donors and public visitors help make all of it possible. With NFTs hopefully more people can get skin in art game while encouraging more secure platforms.

It’s the Vulcans. One warp drive won’t save humanity like one howitzer won’t save Ukraine or a microwave world hunger. It’s a much deeper problem than just hoarding tech which shows our child like nature in the first place. Would you want to share your one of a kind vintage celestial boat and crystal tablet signal library’s and maps showing where more goodies are. We can only hope whoever is hiding these types of hidden histories are studying and preserving it for the few who feel the magnetic calling to the truth. Look at how Egypt has turned out would it really be better if these things are kept slightly hidden to preserve and respect these things. Hopefully all this secrecy is in the name of posterity.

Because certain knowledge is a threat to powerful people. It’s been that way for thousands of years. The library of Alexandria and Solomon’s knowledge were destroyed. Hubs of information have been destroyed through the centuries. people in power get their people they reign over to do it. They get them angry and divided. then they like the mine till it blows up and violence reigns. This is worrisome. It’s the right time for them to make their presence known. Disclosure

Idea: If funding wasn't an obstacle: How about making a drone (alternatively a vehicle) equipped with high resolution cameras and recognizing ability computer technology scanning the surfaces of old Mesopotamia, searching for any archeology that might peep through?
There must be seals, cylinder and other cultural remnants laying around. Dropped or lost while being weared by someone back then.
I believe artificial intelligence in an dedicted form combined with drones could prove to be one of the greates future assets of modern archeology, like recent technologies like LIDAR and ground penetrating radar proved to be in recent years.

23:34 It looks more like the 3rd eye. But I noticed in the other scrolls they seem to outline the eyes and make them very large, this picture only shows one large "normal" eye. It does look like a jester hat but I think that's because we have a cognitive bias as we've seen jester hats like this before. The brain is a pattern machine and it's referring back to something with a similar shape in your subconscious and, seemingly, conscious memory.

So the 3rd eye reference you made would be correct too, as the 3rd eye is a metaphor for awareness.

Read : THE CRYSTAL SUN - Rediscovering a Lost Technology of the Ancient World by Robert Temple 1999. I read it years ago and just finished another by the same author : HE WHO SAW EVERYTHING - The Epic of Gilgamesh, recently finding out that he is very accomplished. In the video they gave a clue with the engraving around the circular agate 'eye' seal, too bad they did not show a close up and that is the point. To do that type of work would require some sharp instrument harder than the agate (diamond?) and a magnifier for the artist to see what they are doing. As to the vice, it can be just a wooden clamp held with ones knee or foot because the forces are small for each incisement stroke. What 'they' never talk about is how they made cylinders without some kind of crude lathe and many of those have bores through them for hanging around ones neck. Here is another good book - The Seal Cylinders of Western Asia by Ward William Hayes 1910. Follow the avatar...

How did you get them from Mesopotemia? Which is current Iraq, syria and Turkey region. I always wonder how all of these priceless items end up in European or US museums.

    • @unbroken1010
      @unbroken1010 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

You buy them 🤷 the same way with manuscripts back in the 1920s you could literally go to a monastery and it was having the equivalent of a garage sale to fund itself. is it right that it ended up all here ?probably not but you can't have a buyer without a seller.

@@unbroken1010 some items you could buy maybe. But I personally know lots of historical artifacts stolen or smuggled during war times, occupations or colonization eras. All artifact from Africa are stolen. Priceless large items from former Ottoman Empire are stolen, during Iraq and Syria war many items got stolen. If 20% were purchased, 80% is stolen

    • @unbroken1010

@@RomeoSuvar I get you but that statistic is not validated. Not everything that come from Africa is stolen. Plenty is made for import, export. Lots of art got stolen during ww2 never recovered.

As the "rolling stones" have a hole through the middle wouldn't it be much easier to make an impression by putting a thin straight stick or needle through said hole instead of trying to twiddle it with fingers and thumbs? Especially given how small most of them are?

How exactly 4000+ years ago, did they DRILL and CARVE such tiny intricate designs in 1" cylinders of Marble and Crystal??? LET ALONE even create 1" round cylinders from those materials in the first place!?! Lasers? Diamond tipped chisels? I'm not being facetious, I actually want to KNOW how scholars suggest this was done!?

Drilled probably with abrasives carved with maybe metal tools idk what they had, more abrasives, polished with abrasives yet again. Not much material needed to be removed to create the designs so a slow tool might be beneficial. I imagine they made test impressions with soft clay as they went to assess their progress
