Reminds me of my old process control days. You get the the advantage of low signal loss over long distances and open wire detection. Your implementation works well!
Excellent video as always Ken!!! Thank you very much!! I am enjoying using forth on my Scamp3 board and it’s because of your coverage that I am aware of these things. I really appreciate the videos!!
I've been working on my current loop design where the input voltage is coming from a processor, but had some trouble finding good way to adjust the output with components that have a lot of tolerance and I really would not like to have potentiometer there. This digital potentiometer is exactly what I was looking for. Thanks!

Wow! A most practical 4 to 20ma VFD control and on a hobby budget. 😎 Thank you. 🥳 Scamp3 is new to me.
You're welcome!
Great ingenuity and again a very perculiar approach
I really appreciate your videos. They are well explained and practical. Good job!!!
Thanks for the feedback! Appreciate that.

That’s nice to hear, Joe.
Enjoy your Scamp3 board! Learn by doing is the best way to go.
As always Ken, a really useful and interesting video. I always enjoy seeing what you do with your Scamp.
Also, love seeing views of the farm. Really nice.
Thanks John.
Awesome project and a very good explanation on the concept. It makes it easy to understand, thank you.
