    Reminds me of my old process control days. You get the the advantage of low signal loss over long distances and open wire detection. Your implementation works well!

    I've been working on my current loop design where the input voltage is coming from a processor, but had some trouble finding good way to adjust the output with components that have a lot of tolerance and I really would not like to have potentiometer there. This digital potentiometer is exactly what I was looking for. Thanks!
