Rowing a duck punt over oyster reefs in Copahee Sound

  • Towards the end of a beautiful sail on Copahee Sound, the wind let up and I towed the last mile or so back to the landing.
    Duck punts are famous for their shallow water sailing abilities. I haven’t seen many videos that focus on their rowing ability.
    I set up my Insta360 X3 camera about four feet over the stern.
    Here you can see the boat rows pretty well. It doesn’t track as well as some, but it certainly does track. It skids in turns because there is so little lateral resistance.

      Hm… I’m willing to drive when I see a deal on a boat I’m interested in. And I don’t have an HOA! 😅
