I just got this 4K Action Cam. It has similar features to my GoPro Hero 4! Not as solid or heavy as the GoPro and the audio is weak but otherwise works fine for 1/3 of the price! Am also using all the mounting accessories in the bundle for my GoPro, except for the battery, charger and external mic. The 4K Action Cam is an excellent value for the price for the beginner

Great video I learned a lot. But how do you know when it's fully charged? Does the red light turn green or does the lighting bolt on the green battery on the screen change? Thank you I just don't want to over charge it.

I just ordered one of these H9 Ultras, one SJ7000 and a A9 HD, for $137CAD total... for 3 cameras including shipping (from China).. - going to compare the 3 myself and then buy maybe 2 more of the best one.

+Touring Diaries man, i didn't keep that camera and it's been quite some time since that video. I don't remember. Check the video and see if you see the option somewhere. Anyway, these cheap action cameeas don't transform those pictures in timelapses. It just takes pictures at a set interval. You need to get the pictures after and make them in a timelapse in a video editor
Redskull that is exactly what I want, the action camera to get pictures at regular intervals and then I can merge them to form a timelapse video, just like gopro hero 5 does, but buying a gopro just for timelapses isn't an economical choice 😊
Can the battery could be bypass and the camera be powered by the lighter socket (with 5 volts transformer, of course) if I use the camera as a car cam ? Thank's

The wifi feature...It uses ur private network and creates one to link the camera and the device or does it work like bluetooth meaning I can use it even if I don't have a dedicated wifi network around? And what's the range?

Nice review. In your prespective, once you reviewed both, what is the best option for the same price, H9 or F60B? Both for 35€. Or ever the SJ7000 1080p for the same price? What should i pick?
I liked the F60B the most out of all the action cameras that i tested. The wifi range on it was great and the recordings seemed in my opinion a bit more crisp than the other cameras.
Can you give me the url please? It seems that there are two models, F60 and F60B. F60B uses the same Allwinner V3 chipset than ELE Explorer 4K. It's probably a good thing, and a IMX179 8MP sensor. But, Is there any difference between F60 and F60B that you know? BTW, i subscribe your channel.
Cool video I enjoyed watching. The footage looks good in 1080 60. Just wondering did you use an external gimbal or apply image correction/ stability in editing? Was this the cameras in built stability/ image correction. Either way looks fairly good value.
Hey...honestly it's been quit a while since I made this video... i don't remember if a gimbal was used. I typically write it on the screen when I do... as for image correction/ editing, I don't do that in any video so I am 100% sure that wasn't done

My almost brand-new Eken will not power up with 12v power cable. I get a msg: "connecting" and a ! inside a triangle. If I remove the cable the camera works perfect. But the battery will not last long without the power cable connected to 12v car power port. Do I have a wrong setting or what? I love this little camera.
UPDATE. Per the manufacturer of the Eken H9 (from Banggood) "We have consulted with our supplier about your request. According to their answer, it is because that using H9 with the charger connected will do some unexpected damage to both the camera and battery since H9 is designed as a portable camera but not a fixed one. The technology used in making this item is not for use as a dash cam connect to a power supply." There you have it folks. This camera CANNOT be used as a dash cam. So don't risk ruining your Eken by connecting a power cord while in a car.

quite laggy tbh, 4k or 2k is terrible lag , 1080p is still laggy and the quality is nowhere near as they stated, the screen on the camera is not working it just wont turn on

I have a sound problem on mine. Have the 'recording sound' turned on but speaker only heard when held right next to my ear on camera playback. I can hear after downloading but microphone poor at picking up ambient sound. Were the clips you posted on camera playback?

I don't think you can adjust it. You can probably edit the footage in a video editor to make it slower

take out the SD card, put it in a SD to USB convertor (less than a dollar in any online shopping website), and connect the USB to your computer ;)
while ordering on gearbest it gives a size option which one do i pick "EU Plug" or "US Plug" ???
if you are located in North America choose the US Plus, if you are somewhere else choose EU Plug. This is the charger for the action camera
