Agreed! Native is hands down the best deodorant I’ve tried, it’s good for my sensitive skin and is long wearing.. Won’t go back to aluminum deodorant ever!
Native doesn’t seem to work for my family. I bought a ton two years ago for Christmas presents for my daughter, son and their spouses. Everyone gave them back. They didn’t help with sweating and they could smell themselves within hours of applying. I wear it to get rid of it. I agree they smell great when you apply. But within an hour I can smell sweat. Winter is better. Maybe this should be my winter only deodorant. I won’t be buying it again. Can’t wait to get rid of it. I store it in my frig and take taking up space. I was on an auto order and wound up with like 10 🙄 ugh!

It's so wonderful to see you so happy! Your energy is so much lighter and brighter :-) I'm loving the downsize collection, I can tell that you just absolutely adore every single plant. Inspiring me!
My mother has a giant trailing golden pothos that is growing along the wall and ceiling in her living room. It's very sentimental to both of us because it belonged to her late brother, and she diligently takes care of it to keep his legacy alive. I took a cutting of it a while back and I swear this plant is SO resilient, it's grown so much in such a short amount of time! I'm not a big fan of pothos in general but this one is just special.
Ahhh, you look absolutely ethereal. You’re glowing lately and I love to see it. I know what you mean about being able to appreciate your plants better after downsizing. 🥰🌿
Love your video! I totally get what you mean about smaller plants, refining your collection, being intentional and finding plants that really bring you joy. That’s how it should be!
YES! That was me who mentioned about the H. compacta blooms! You pretty much nailed it 😊❤️ I'll do some digging today and find that video for you, stay tuned

Agh…you inspire me all the time! I’m feeling a little overwhelmed these days. Hi Fern! Ok, I have a confession. After an evening of watching plant videos (several of yours and others) I became confused as to whose video I wanted to share this sentiment, "When I was an inexperienced plant lover years ago, I bought them in full bloom and shortly after they settled in their new home they died without knowing why. But when I grew in experience I came to realize, like you if I'm right, that it is far more beneficial to start with a plant in their beginning stage for as the plant grows, your knowledge of them grows as well. The end result is a well adjusted and healthy plant and the satisfaction of your success." Wishing you a wonderful day!
I LOVED this video❤ I think a lot of us are going through a bit of a rejuvenation of our collections right now, as many of us have acquired a bunch of plants in a fairly short amount of time and are now either going back to work or having to move (cuz the market is NUTS right now!) This has truly made me appreciate every plant I have even that much more!😊 I've never been happier with the collection I now have! I can just breath and enjoy caring for these beautiful babies!💚
I love my crimson queen too! I got mine in May as a rehab from a friend after they burnt it in their greenhouse. It's put off so much new growth this summer, lots of white leaves, and it looks like it's starting to form some peduncles for me!
I purchased a philodendron silver sword a couple of months ago and it’s always giving me beautiful new leaves and I love it so much, I understand why it’s one of your favourite 🥰
A follow up regarding Adam (Knot Dude) and his beautiful words about the blooms on a H. compacta- I was mistaken and it wasn't in a video after all, but it was a post on Instagram made June 7 of this year. His caption is so lovely and I really took a lot from it. It's a gorgeous yellow background with his Compacta in bloom in the foreground. I sent it to your IG DMs, Fern ❤️
I love how much you appreciate all of your plant babies, it makes me realize how amazing our plants are and all the love they give us when we love them back😊❤ I would love to see a bear paw propagation video!🌞
Thanks for the recent videos, its definately worth streamlining your collection to what you really enjoy otherwise it can get a bit nebulous and a bit of a chore and you can't focus on what brings you joy, i totaly get enjoying the process of growing something from a small plant rather than buying a ready made statement plant i bought what turned out to be a large form monstera 3 summers back as a small immature plant and I've got great pleasure from growing it up but boy now its a massive 'statement plant' taking 4 square metres of floor space i think i need to sell it to some rich folk with a big conservatorie !
I also did some purging this summer. Potted my doubles together and gave the rest away to a friend. It felt like I was sending my babies off to college 🥲 Now I feel sooo much better and im focusing more attention on how to get my favorites to thrive. Don't get me wrong, my place still looks a jungle but giving away even 10 plants is such a relief 🥰
I thought sure your dragon scales would be on the list 😊 Honesty I just wanted to drool over her again, lol. Loved all your chosen plants. I can also feel the relief and joy you now get from your collection. So happy for you!
I think that might be your best video yet-something very authentic about you today. And yes to the Silver Sword. One of my favourites also. Keep it up Fern, you're doing great.
I’m trying to downsize too...I don’t enjoy the feeling of living in a forest. I enjoy smaller plants and lose interest when they get big. Strange, I know! It’s nice to see you happy and settled. 💕🇨🇦
Your plants look so happy and healthy. You have very thoughtful and generous friends! I have a yellow variegated bear paw plant that I found at Home Depot. It was so tiny when I bought it, but now it’s grown so much and it’s so beautiful. Surprisingly the regular green bear paw is hard to find in a big box store, but I want one so I’ll keep looking. Great video, Fern! 💚
Every plant in this video is so amazing! They gave me second-hand joy lol. On a side note, the areal roots on your monstera are so impressive! I heard putting monstera areal roots in water really makes the plant put out a ton of new leaves 💚🌿
I got obsessed with the pot you got for your gloriousum since I saw it in your vlog. Even had my husband hunting for it on business trips. On my birthday I found that exact pot at a nursery in Dallas, TX and snatched up two! ❤️
I have a tiny crimson queen that I've had for 4 months and it has not grown one cm. She's got until spring in my care before I pass her along. Gonna try orchid spray in March and we will see how it goes.
I prefer small plants to watch them grow too! My favourite right now is a tiny silver sword, tied to a bbq skewer. 🥰. And I have bear paw seeds on the way in the mail!
Love love love! Thank you Fern! I had to laugh the other day when I noticed the Monstera Thai I got a few weeks ago had root rot 😂 here we go! Haha so happy yours are happy and healthy again. They look so rich in color!
I think most Hoya peduncle will get longer and longer. My memoria has had 3/4 peduncles rebloom a few times in the same of a few months. It’s why you should take the blooms off rather than disturb the peduncle 🤗
Beautiful! I'm so happy that you are in this new place. You have a new happiness, and a kind of glow about you. I'm super happy for you. I love the intentional aspect of your collection now. I am trying to be the same way. Do you still have any of the Hoyas you got in your past videos? I got a big Bella because yours was inspiring, hehe. Your Krimson Queen absolutely gorgeous. 😍🪴 I had a big one in that same pot but it unalived itself last year randomly (it was so cheap originally too, which hurts.). I have one tiny original piece left, but I also have four 6" pots (from a local backyard nursery) I need to put together. I got them last summer, and they have taken off since I finally set up my grow lights last winter. I have my baby sister's KQ too that she gave me last year before she had to move to Japan. It is finally starting to flourish. That's the sentimental one for sure. If I ever found a giant, established pot of KQ again, I'd probably get it tbh. That's my favourite Hoya, and possibly my favourite plant overall. I would definitely be happy having several KQs.
I have a tiny baby silver sword. I can not wait for her to grow 🥰 Someday I want a Thai, I know everyone loves the Albo but the Thai is for me! Thank you for another wonderful video.
Yesss! I have the yellow and white variegated bears paw. I had never seen the yellow and thought maybe it was the white version just not as mature/needed more sun but it's kept the yellow color.
I have the yellow variegated bear paw! I saw them in a video of yours and went right to order one for myself and then all three versions were available sooo 😬😂 I’ve had some trouble with succulents in the past but these are so happy and cute, I’m so glad I have them!
All of these plants are beautiful. I am especially in love with your hoya krimson queen. I just got myself a tiny baby one and I'm really excited for it to get big! Nice video :)
A few weeks ago I commented on one of your videos. I said that my online nursery sold variegated marantas for $110 (approx. 90€). They do now have smaller plants for $35 (29.90€) so who knows… 😏
I hit the like button because there is no love button 😊🪴 it was really nice to see the plants where they live in your home (as opposed to pulled together on a table for filming.) It’s inadvertent care advice to see where a plant thrives in someone else’s home. Curious what direction the windows face : ) Thank you for your time and creativity!
Eeeeeeee! Your plants are so happy!!!!!🥰🥰🥰! LOVE this video! LOVE the excitement in your voice as well!!!😍😍😍😍. How is Olive since the move? I know that you were a bit worried. I say that she is happy with the new place and happy Mommy!💖💖😘. What light direction is you Crimson Queen receiving? I have a Princess that isn't doing much, sigh. Thanks for the video!💓
This was such a lovely video to watch :) My plant collection is small so I don't plan on downsizing, but the plants that I would never ever part with are my pothos n'joy and my haworthias
Those are great picks!!! I just got a little Hoya carnosa 'compacta' from a corner store in Toronto and it's one of my favourite (and i have a good number of Hoyas).
Your verrucosum is looking so good now. And yes girl, give it a moss pole, mine loves it. Got it with 2 leafs and gave it a pole immediately and it got bigger so quickly. I habe to extend the mosspole again thow 🙊. Will tag you on instagram. Verry proud of it, even it got a beat up leaf, when I was away after segery for a few weeks, it didn‘t liked my plantsitter 😂
I collected all the versions of bear paw I could find including the yellow variegated. Also, not sure if you know this but I’ve come across two forms of the white variegated, a small leaved dense version which is what I believe you have and a extra large/chunky leaved version where each leaf is the size of a loonie but less dense. Propagating them is super easy in water or directly in soil but works best with stem cuttings, it’s incredibly difficult (maybe impossible?) with leaf cuttings.
Delighted to have just found your channel! I'm In love with your plants and your energy. :) I would love to see a bear paw propagation video; I lost my massive bear paw earlier this year and was unsuccessful at propagating beforehand :(
I would love to see baby Greta put on a pole! ❤️ And I agree about watching the smaller plants grow - I’d probably buy a super large variegated monstera if I happened upon one for a great price but other than that I’m happy with my 2-4” bebes, especially now that almost all of them are actually kinda massive 🤯😂 (that was in my Fern voice)
Oh shit I just realized I've been watching like all of your videos for a while now and I wasn't subscribed even, glad you mentioned. The algorithm is strong tho!
You should make a video on tips about downsizing your collection. I am going into a busier time in my life and I need to purge, but I'm having issues choosing what plants.
I really enjoyed this video ! Your plants are gorgeous ! I have a pretty big philo verrucosum and it grows very well it has this fuzzy petiole that i love , i know some people doesn't like that 😅 And yes they are prone to spidermites unfortunately.
When you were talking about the pothos giving you no pest issues, I looked over and there was a gnat or something flying against the screen. I hadn't seen it before, so it's obviously your fault.
New subscriber. I was actually drawn to your video by your hair color.🙂 I love growing my plants from rooting, or very small plants too. To see them grow up like kids.
so sad knowing you've sold your big cebu blue, i got my cebu blue few weeks ago because i watch your video 😢 idk why they're sooo hard to find here in my country
Girlll you have my taste on point! Silvery and velvet 🖤 I think I would also add scindapsus exotica on my list ^_^ and a Florida Beauty is on my Wishliiist 😍

All of these plants are beautiful. I am especially in love with your hoya krimson queen. I just got myself a tiny baby one and I'm really excited for it to get big! Nice video :)
Some lovely choices Fern 😍🌿👍🏼
Hi from Arizona, I too like to watch my plants in my collection grow💚I'm new to your channel, very informative!
I’m trying to downsize as well! I think your idea of not having duplicates will help me let go easier! Thanks fern!
Sooo true! Appreciation and gratitude are game changers! I need to be better about that in general LOL 😁 Love your channel!!!💚💚💚☮☮☮💜💜💜☮☮☮
I purged 30 when I moved and I believe I will be purging around another 50 or so when I get ready to move...again.
Awesome! I am going to take some stem cuttings 😃
Delighted to have just found your channel! I'm In love with your plants and your energy. :) I would love to see a bear paw propagation video; I lost my massive bear paw earlier this year and was unsuccessful at propagating beforehand :(
And it’s really nice to see all of your plants. My favourite plants are Cebu blue I really like the global Green pohos
I would love to see baby Greta put on a pole! ❤️
And I agree about watching the smaller plants grow - I’d probably buy a super large variegated monstera if I happened upon one for a great price but other than that I’m happy with my 2-4” bebes, especially now that almost all of them are actually kinda massive 🤯😂 (that was in my Fern voice)
Beautiful plants! I love your channel!
just stumbled upon you and i’m in love :) thank you for posting
💚💚💚
Oh shit I just realized I've been watching like all of your videos for a while now and I wasn't subscribed even, glad you mentioned. The algorithm is strong tho!
Love these long videos!! Your plants look great!! I don't think I could get rid of them either
I had no idea about vegan deodorants plastic free! Game changer! Will look for them for sure. Great video, thanks!
😁👍
"Girl you better drink that sh*t uuuup!"
I died xx
Love your videos. If you don’t mind can you please link what product you use to treat spider mites. I’ve used neem oil but didn’t work
You should make a video on tips about downsizing your collection. I am going into a busier time in my life and I need to purge, but I'm having issues choosing what plants.
Could you please do a new plant tour? 🥰😍 all your plants look so healthy!!! You’re awesome!
Yes coming soon 🥰
I really enjoyed this video !
Your plants are gorgeous !
I have a pretty big philo verrucosum and it grows very well it has this fuzzy petiole that i love , i know some people doesn't like that 😅
And yes they are prone to spidermites unfortunately.
The compacta would look lovely in a macrame
Not plenty related but YOUR SKIN is so beautiful. The glow of a happy mind perhaps?!
When you were talking about the pothos giving you no pest issues, I looked over and there was a gnat or something flying against the screen. I hadn't seen it before, so it's obviously your fault.
New subscriber. I was actually drawn to your video by your hair color.🙂
I love growing my plants from rooting, or very small plants too. To see them grow up like kids.
Thanks for subbing! Welcome :)
so sad knowing you've sold your big cebu blue, i got my cebu blue few weeks ago because i watch your video 😢 idk why they're sooo hard to find here in my country
Girlll you have my taste on point! Silvery and velvet 🖤 I think I would also add scindapsus exotica on my list ^_^ and a Florida Beauty is on my Wishliiist 😍
