Yeah if you ever heard his last few interviews, Piper viewed her like another daughter. He actually was the one who kept pushing WWE to have her at their shows. He got lucky enough to see her "first" wrestlemania moment @ 31.

She proved herself in the octagon as tough and athletic so this is a logical step for her career. It's like Michael Vick (or any former NFLer) playing flag football now. I cant understand the hate towards her. Is she likable....not so much but to hate her is ridiculaous. She's essentially the Michael Jordon/Hulk Hogan of female MMA. She brought it to a level it had never been before and may not be again for a long long time. She's always been a wrestling fan and like she said before her fame has allowed her to do something with her life she may not have been able to do if not for her mma career so shes going to take it. I was called a misogynist many times because I said she didn't stand a chance against the likes of TJ Dillashaw or any legitimate pro MMA fighter her size, and if she did they wouldn't have a women's division, she'd just fight the men. The argument that they wouldn't sanction it "because they're sexist" (and not for her own health because they are sane) doesn't hold water because NSAC sanctioned Conor McGregor fighting Floyd Mayweather for 12 rounds for his first pro boxing fight EVER, with no amateur experience.
