Excellent video. Growing up when the 68 hit the streets, Two brothers who we are all pals, There parents bought them 2 new 68 Z50 bikes. My father was very stern and help build me a couple of mini bikes to destroy.. The impression that had on me in 1968 was something I have never forgot. I was so jealous, as well oblivious yet to the CT70. Well in my kid raising days, I started to buy old beat up ones I could clean up, but never sold one of them till, I got experienced and started to restore them. Retired now I have restored about 40+ Z50, s and have sold a ton of them. My personal collection is about only 8 of the Z50,s and I still restore them to this day. Thanks for the video. Rick

Wow, that’s awesome! Great bike to cruise as a kid. It always surprises me when people do still have their childhood bikes.

Thank you! Yeah, 68s are pricey when they pop up. I held out and finally found these two last year for a decent price.

Good job on overview. I have owned too many to count. Am down to 2 K1's, fully restored.

At 10 I got the 1969 with the red candy paint. Used it til 18. Even cast a upper triple clamp in metal shop in High School to hold my welded perch lever bars, my 72' CZ 250 came with. I had a area next to the house we rode at.

Excellent details and narration! I just finished a complete resto on a 1969 which was my first bike back in 1972. Try moving your camera about 3x slower and pause on each subject for a few seconds so we can focus on the details. Great job.

I added a link in the description to where you can purchase the Z50 guide I mentioned on Amazon.
