I have a 98 we bought for our oldest son he's all grown up now in his early 30s our daughter also learned to ride it I still have it in our garage well maintained and taken care of I still ride my grandkids on it its on its 3rd set of tires and tubes just serviced it again new plug oil and air filter sweet little bike I had a 1980 XR80 and 1982 XR100 when I was a teenager can't beat a honda 4 stroke will probably just hold onto this little 50 since they are discontinued .

Excellent video. Growing up when the 68 hit the streets, Two brothers who we are all pals, There parents bought them 2 new 68 Z50 bikes. My father was very stern and help build me a couple of mini bikes to destroy.. The impression that had on me in 1968 was something I have never forgot. I was so jealous, as well oblivious yet to the CT70. Well in my kid raising days, I started to buy old beat up ones I could clean up, but never sold one of them till, I got experienced and started to restore them. Retired now I have restored about 40+ Z50, s and have sold a ton of them. My personal collection is about only 8 of the Z50,s and I still restore them to this day. Thanks for the video. Rick

Nice but you’re Light on the 68 to 71’s. You need more of those. Those are my favorite years. I bought an all original 69 blue/silver back in the late 80’s for $225.00. It was close to pristine. Came with the original battery and factory key tag. I might have put three hours on it since I have owned it.

Nothing brings back memories like the QA 50. As a small boy my older brother took me to the back of his Chevy Impala, popped the trunk and there it was! The start of a lifetime obsession with anything on two wheels. Thanx for bringing both memories and a true classic back .
