You need to replace the Battery Safety Terminal in the trunk by the battery to get power back into the car. I rebuilt a Supra on my channel so I've been through pretty much everything you're gonna see. More than happy to help you guys out if you have any questions.
True - not a BMW guy but I was also going to suggest just a sanity check of inspecting all the fuses and going from there - interesting about BMW battery cable thing you mentioned.

It's located in the trunk with the battery and will be on the positive battery wire, either located right on the battery or under the carpet int he trunk. you can cut it out or install a new wire. Also the engine is a b58 i6 with a twinscroll turbo. Awesome buy! can't wait to see it rebuilt! good luck gents.

Izzy36 Orange I actually don’t mind the “collaboration” since it fits and makes sense. What I mean with it fits: imagine Toyota building the Supra with Volkswagen... doesn’t make sense, right? With Audi or Mercedes or some American brands... it all doesn’t seem to fit. BMW on the other hand is a good fit with their inline 6 bulletproof engines and the engineering. The build quality especially on the interior is incredible for Toyota and they just got it like that because of BMW.

Did Toyota design them? Since they are really an alternate version of a BMW Z4 with a Toyota logo. The BMW version I think is a covetable and the Supra a hard top.
Exactly. They even said we could’ve done it, but we want the customers to get a build going like every other MK4 Supra. And I’m not gonna lie. I kinda like that. Give customers something to work on and make connections with their car to keep the Supra spirit going
B58 is one of the best engines, massive stock power. just put a new software on it and you can expect to get around 500hp or even more, the b58 is a crazy engine
You can take the turbo off and send it to be bored and have bigger intake and exhaust blades mounted. Adam LZ did one in his recent videos and car should be around 600 horse now.
Still its not a 2jz so the rods the pistons the bearings the crankshaft and some of the camshaft needs an upgrade, trust me i installed a bigger turbo on my 340i f30 which has the b58 and without those upgrades the engine blew up. Sadly i needed to swap the whole engine.

The Toyota designers thought that with front-mounted 3 liter inline 6 turbo-charged engine out of the factory, "we're going to use fake vents [on the door, 5 feet away from the engine complete with turbocharger] to allow customers to upgrade more turbos and what not." I think you need to put the pipe down, bud. This is not a mid-engine or rear-engine car, that could be remotely feasible but what you are saying is contributing to false information that is making the internet dumber. Adding piping for cooling the rear brakes is wrong for more reasons that I can explain, but far more likely. Short answer, the fake vents were not intended for later adding turbos and what not.

The motor is a B58, inline six turbo BMW motor. They're literally a work of art, and with a decent exhaust, oh my goodness. Trans is 8 speed ZF. Amazing transmission.
It could be worse if you bought a 90s Aston Martin, half the parts are Ford and Volvo, you can peel the leather off the keyfob to find a stock Volvo one hidden underneath AM being cheeky bastards hid the embossed Volvo logo with cardboard so it wouldn't show through the leather.
It is a launch edition. All the launch editions come with the red side mirrors. Thats how u differentiate between a base (for now) and a launch edition.
The brakes are the M-Performance brakes (unbranded Brembo) from the new G series BMW range (check M340i Xdrive, X3 M40i) they'll most likely be the same part #
Check the positive cable when you located the battery I always replace it new it has like a emergency relay that dosen’t allow any power I’ve bought bmw that need that fixed when airbags are blown
There would be a pyro fuse on the positive terminal of the battery. You can jump it manually to power up but you need to change the positive battery lead with a new one
I don't think it is a launch edition either. In the video, you can see that above the glove box there is no number that states which unit number it is out of the launch editions made for 2020. Some did come with the black interior too though.
No it isn't, all launch editions have red interiors, every option, lots of carbon, and are numbered on the dash. It has red mirror's either because it's a gr option or the previous owner either wraped or painted em red.
If youre still locked out of the trunk i suggest looking under the Rear license plate sleeve. On some sports car the manufacturer will place a hidden key hole there.

It's called a pyro fuse, its on the battery lead. Always blow when the airbags have fired and cuts all power to the car.

The same issue occurred on a past huracan build. They had to replace a fuse blown by the accident to start it as well.

if its the same motor as the m3/m4 then you can make some easy power out of it, however i hear to upgrade internals is quite expensive.

Check for grounds, they're almost always in the bumper corners, without them, most relays won't work so you won't get power.

Check the positive cable when you located the battery I always replace it new it has like a emergency relay that dosen’t allow any power I’ve bought bmw that need that fixed when airbags are blown

If its got a BMW loom then that is probably most likely. In an accident it’ll chop the power.
You can build or buy fork extensions that slide over your current forks. Gives you flexibility if you don't need extra long forks all the time.

There would be a pyro fuse on the positive terminal of the battery. You can jump it manually to power up but you need to change the positive battery lead with a new one

I don't think it is a launch edition either. In the video, you can see that above the glove box there is no number that states which unit number it is out of the launch editions made for 2020. Some did come with the black interior too though.
No it isn't, all launch editions have red interiors, every option, lots of carbon, and are numbered on the dash. It has red mirror's either because it's a gr option or the previous owner either wraped or painted em red.

If youre still locked out of the trunk i suggest looking under the Rear license plate sleeve. On some sports car the manufacturer will place a hidden key hole there.
