    Nice mate, I just booked the syd-dxb early morning flight for August so I enjoyed this preview of what to expect. It's a challenge to work out if I should try and stay awake or sleep knowing I'll arrive in Dubai and need to sleep there too! This is so much better than Qantas First... it's in another league!

      Its a very tough time slot! It looks quite a lot of strength not to go straight to sleep, but the onboard experience was well worth it! Definitely another league to Qantas!

    Thanks for a great vid. I will be making my bucket list flight in 6 weeks, First Class with Emirates from Manchester to Dubai to Perth, and watching this video has made me even more excited, if that’s possible lol. I won’t know what to do first 😊 I’m definitely going for the caviar, because how often can you say you’ve had champagne and caviar at 40,000ft lol. Safe travels and thanks again.

      Love to hear that & I know you wont be disappointed! If either flight is on the A380 make sure you don't miss out on the shower, it is such a wonderful feeling!

    Really enjoyed the video, I have managed to get a QFF classic reward first class on Emirates from KUL-DXB on the A380 and then on a B777 to Vienna as part of a return trip to Europe next May and your right the taxes are high ex Australia but much lower if the Emirates flights start from another county and I only paid A$1400 return.

      Yep, the the painful part of Emirates rewards! Enjoy it!

    Mate can you indicate load factors in future videos also 😂 the best time to shower is 3 hours out of Dubai as It really refreshes you before arrival especially if you have another flight to catch with tight schedule. Anyway it's such a luxury.

    Great video as usual mate!
    I just upgraded my credit card and get 2 qantas lounge passes. I fly Qatar to England in April, can I use it for that from Melbourne?

    • @pointyend-secrets
      @pointyend-secrets  11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Thanks for your continued support Kyle!
      Unfortunately, Qantas’ single use lounge passes are only valid when travelling on a QF flight number, so unless it’s sold as a QF flight you wouldn’t be able to!

    hi mate can you please help me understand what you mean at the end of the video" flying a connection flight will bring the tax down" did you mean still fly EK but in 2 legs? or just fly non EK? I can see the tax on EK are always so steep. Thanks mate

    • @pointyend-secrets
      @pointyend-secrets  5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      G'day! Yes its more in terms of flying 2 legs on one ticket, its usually cheaper than flying single one-way segments.

      @@pointyend-secrets Thanks mate for the clarification. I'm starting to do some Qantas/CX oneworld multi-carrier planning which is burning my brain a lot. good thing for oneworld is I don't need to fly one direction RTW compared to star alliance hahah. Hope maybe you can post some of those videos if you were planning to do so in the future. Love your work and video as always

      As for the BSB, I havent been able to find a way to do that! My suggestion would be just to sign up for an ABN and then use my referral link to sign up to B2BPay and pay BSBs through them for 1 point per dollar.

      More than most people should! Domestically once or twice a week, international every 2 months or so! It is pretty tiring, especially if Im travelling for work!

    Great trip, I can't even find a travel agent to get me a deal flying from Adelaide to Paris yearly. They don't seem to know or don't care about working out a deal. I tried it with Turkish airlines business class but because I wanted to fly to Kuala Lumpur on economy they wouldn't offer a deal . Australians get screws on flights and taxes. Still hoping someone will show me how to get at least business class on a deal.

    • @pointyend-secrets

      Value is definitely based on personal perpective, but, since these flights are all on A380s and the economy price looks to be around 1500 pounds, if its in your price range why not!
