This is gonna sound really dumb but does that “service brake system” releases the parking brake so that you can change brake pads without diagnostic tools or OBD readers?
There should be a way to do it by going into the settings then into driving settings or charging settings and adjusting the regenerative braking. Hope this helps!
@@joebeike there is no OFF option, there is Low option only. I ask you from hidden menus or differently, is there a way to Turn it Off completely? I have i7 i cannot turn it off, service cannot to either. I ask if you know a secret way
nothing that I have found in the hidden menu. I know when it is on low you can barely feel it. It must have been a different vehicle that I saw off on. But it is a vital part for the electric to run and be able to charge while braking and allow for less wear and tear in the brake pads.
If you have a X7 then it is not capable of doing it on the dash only on the Center Information Display when activated and within a short distance of the turn. This is only available on vehicle equip with iDrive 8 and the latest OS software to allow it in the Instrument Cluster.

how do you reset this system if the remote services are not working/?.
Press and hold the volume button for 60-90 seconds and it will reboot the system
Tried that but I don’t know if anything is supposed to happen? I can’t see anything really… I am having issues with all remote services!!
