Go and watch the interview this guy did with one other guy called ‘ agba agba’ and hear what he said compare with some nonsense he is saying now. Ive the interview . This guy is another. Didn’t the band had maga success after you left ? Personal ambition , greed , fear of competition affected his life. He said how money was being shared which is different from the nonsense he is talking now. Anyone should search for the interview and compare. Why the inconsistency on same topic ???? He is a failure and bllody liar

I appreciate your interview Mr. Bashy Adeleke but i take an exeption to your submission that Wasiu Ayinde retires BArrister musically with consolidation Album released in 1993. despite your ill feelings towards barrister base on your working relationship wit him yet I disagree that wasiu retired barrister in 1993. it was 1994 barrister released The Truth, 1995 he released Canadian/Precaution that later earned him MFR, Inferno in 1996, Prophecy etc. meanwhile no fuji music album ever beat REALITY barrister relased in 2004. pls tell me where Wasiu retire BArrister. upon when new generational fuji artist flood the industry btw 1995 to 2010, yet no fuji album ever beat REALITY. infact Sunny T almost retire Wasiu if not bcs of something we know but can never talk here. pls swallow that nonesense talk

I am not trying to justify what ever treatment this man might have gotten when he was with Barrister but still these view questions needed an answer because Yoruba said '' Bi ika ba ro ejo Ika ko ni yoo da" was it 200Naira 300Naira this man was collecting in all the oversea trip he went with Barrister? what was the value of 50Naira,200Naira ,300Naira he claimed he was collecting in early 80's when he was with Barrister compere with the 3500Naira or 7000Naira he was collecting in 90's when he was with Shina Peters? haven't said this Mr. Adeleke confirmed that Barrister bought a car for Ayansola who was the drum leader then to me I see this as an incentive for Ayansola to encourage him to do more who Know what Barrister is planning for Mr. Bashy Adeleke as incentive to also encourage him just as he did to the two lead drummer before him that is Kamoru Ayansola and Baba Oyadolu because we had it on a good authority that Barrister also bought a car for Oyadolu and even took some of them for Hajj, Mr.Bashy will agree with me that not many musician as at that time provided such an incentive for any of their boys furthermore I think Mr.Bashy also have his own forth on the issue between himself and Barristers wife in Atlanta if I were Mr.Bashy I would have reported what transpires between me and his wife to the man who took me to Atlanta i.e. Barrister and see how he would react to it rather then keeping salient as if everything is normal finally in my opinion from the story Mr.Bashy told on how he joined Barrister band I think Barrister tried for him his best may not be good enough for Mr.Bashy but for allowing him to prove himself from just a helper boy to a lead drummer I think Barrister deserve kudos for that lastly I disagree with Mr.Bashy on the issue of consolidation record produced by Wasiu Ayinde, Consolidations record did not retired Barrister nor Kolinton because both of them recorded many hit records after Wasiu Ayinde consolidation record.my advise the drummer should try to make best use of their little recourses and I encourage the singer to also do more to encourage their boy as Yourba say Yi yin ni oun mu ori wu .

One million of wasiu cannot achieve half of greatness, respect , originality sikiru ayinde achieve in life. All these one is saying is born of hatred for barister . He senselessly claimed he was paid 50 naira. When ? What is the value of 50 naira ? How much was the band making then ??? His senseless claim that connsolidation of wasiu benched barister and kolignton then shows his shalliwnes and myopiism. Was ijo yoyo by kolighton , fuji garbahe , realiry and many others not after consolidation ????? . So senseless and a man laced with hatred. Nonsense !

How can someone singing Barristers cover better than Barrister. Ayuba changed the way fuji was being perceived...overall shina peters are ayuba were the new juju and fuji baby face..wasiu came with consolidation after those two men mr Johnson and sir shina changed the new generation game... Barrister is the tree behind every fuji artist success .he dictates the pace and they all embellish his song.s..i give you example..ijo fuji by ayuba had already been mentioned in Barrister s .dimensional fuji. Ayuba was just creative about it.. Ayinde wasiu sang his first album via barrristers series..till date he sings Barrister and people who dont know think he was the original composer ..so Respect the legend Ba rrister and Baba kebe..E ma fi Barrister we onifuji kan gbogbo yin le mo ni Alhaji Agba..

Many of people commented here were sentimental, the fact that we love barrister and his music does not mean a certain release from someone else can not give him musical threat, if you must hear the truth Wasiu Ayinde gave musical threat to his senior colleagues began from talazo 84 consolidation 93 & legacy 96. Especially Tala 84 everyone of them change their style, that made barrister sang Fuji disco. So it's technically wise to observe a colleague music and do something different in Ur coming release. Barrister was a professional musician when he heard Wasiu Ayinde classical style in the 90s he changed pattern of music and that kept his relevance, I remember one of my uncle then said barrister has lost his standard unknowing to them that his following the trend. Barrister was the best Fuji musician on his time but agree with me that a lot of album not only from Wasiu Ayinde gave him threat, he once said Pele Pele lere mi , Alhaji agba o, ibi tawa Bere Fuji de , Kole Kole Ko si fere wa Mo . Eni to nbo leyin lo lere Sa. But many of us for the fact that we love a musician we are ready to immortalised them unjustly

Nice history but many petty talk. Barrister opened an enterprise since 1958, invested and worked to grow it. You joined in 1980 and want to determine how finance will be managed, impossible, same with the corporate world. At first it was a privilege to join the band, later everyone will claim right.
He wanted to paint Sir Shina Peters better than SAB but Agbaletu did a good job. They also paid for vehicle and resigned em mass, WHY.

It's a fallacy to say such, maybe because he had issues with Barrister as he said earlier. Barrister & Kollington are legends. Agbaletu, I love your introductory statement 100% especially because, as I have said in previous comments, the love that we have for our music superstars often do not allow us to hear about their mistakes. They are/were human beings, fallible human beings and prone to mistakes, whether deliberate or in error. Information about their past errors should be eye openers, not destruction or condemnation. People talking now too have their own errors which they try to hide, or manipulate, posterity is there to judge all of them. In all, this historical archive is a welcome development. Thank you so much, Agbaletu, God bless you more!

However, he messed up for saying K1 consolidation set anoter musical pace was wrong assertion SAB is an evergreen roll he died his Fuji gabage is everlasting green, and when K1 orchestrated his kingship to undermines his musical father, that doesn't not make them lose any value in music industry, they were rather getting more relevance

This guy is not a very good person to be honest. There was an issue between you and your boss wife. You don’t know what they told him but you jumped to conclusions and never addressed the issue, still you don’t see any wrong doing on your side. You walked away, still they took you back and paying you even when you were not playing. How many boss can tolerate that kind of self centred attitude. You eventually left the band for another organisation, you also left that organisation later at some stage. You left all these job in a very bad way but still you don’t see anything wrong in your own approach. Your victim mentality is 💯. Mind you, there is no perfect organisation as there is always conflict in every organisation. It’s your duty to address your issue with your boss. I can go on and on but hey, nuff said. Check yourself, man, you are too self righteous. You spoke with both sides of your mouth, you praised ShinaPeters based on the amount of money you were receiving when you got there. How sis you leave the poor guy ? You unceremoniously ran away in America. You are the common denominator in both organisations.
In a nutshell, the band leaders have their shortcomings but you are no saint either. “Oro nla le da o” ? Response: “Onikaluku nja fun life ara e ni”. You said that when the pendulum swings towards you. Nuff said.

First of all Mr bashy when you knew you haven’t gotten any employment with chevron, you shouldn’t have disrespected your boss by not respecting his ruthless wife, your boss’s wife is also your boss. You too you were so full of yourself.two wrongs don’t make a right. In regards to your claim of not getting well paid how is that true? Maybe by that time you guys were sharing #5 per head, it could have been your terms as at that not so Rosie times, I said that because you just said there were times you weren’t participating in the band for like 2 years, yet according to you you were getting paid higher than some Members who were fully active, according to you. You also said it’s not right to speak ill of a dead person, but you stylistically did it. No disrespect to you, definitely those areas where you didn’t share with us might be areas whereby you know in your heart of hearts that you will be quoted as wrong. No one is an angel, nobody holy pass, but Alhaji agba I knew ? He was ten times better off than Many Musicians, he was a humanitarian to the core, God rest his soul.

Consolidation is very significant in Fuji music's history. SAB acknowledged the wizardry-like arrangement and composition entailed in Consolidation.
Tracks like "Show colour," which the legendary Lagbaja used in his 1st mainstream album. Another track is "Ayinde (Bobo) No Go Die, and many more." Consolidation was a total departure from how Fuji music used to be made.
It's a poor choice of words for Adeleke, but many insiders know what he meant.
SAB is still relevant, even after death and he'll be forever, so is GKA.

I spotted one lie in this interview - that K1 retired SAB and Kollington with Consolidation Album. Just picking that alone, there are other Artists with more explosive Albums after Consolidation. OBESERE came with more explosive Albums that scattered Consolidation. Is OBTK a joke to you? Is Ashakasha a joke to you? Mr Teacher almost buried all K1's Albums in the 90s. So stop overrating K1 cos we know better. Is Omorapala Overthrow a joke to you? Overthrow was rated the first Fuji Album to ever sell more that one million CDs in the history of Fuji Music. So, SAB reigned till God called him, and people should stop painting lies.

This is an incredible analysis of the status quo in music band. Nigeria syndrome of authoritarianism and autocratic leadership affects every facet of Nigeria including entertainment. I hope Adeyanju is paying his crew members what’s commensurable with the work they do. Nigeria is a mixed of ignorance, exploitation, corruption and lawlessness. If the government can regulate this sector that can ameliorate the exploitation of musical band members.

While one cannot dispute the fact that Hadji Bashy can speak with some level of authority on Fuji music, I am of the strong view that his assertion, that Wasiu's Consolidation album retired both Sikiru Ayinde Barrister and Kollington as frontline Fuji artistes, is nothing but his own personal opinion, albeit an unconvincing and unreasonable opinion. The facts on ground do no support such an opinion. In fact, the facts on ground totally defeat his opinion. For instance, Wasiu released the said Consolidation album in 1994, while Barrister released his "Precaution" (Canadian Fuji) album in 1995; Although, i do not have the figures, but i seriously doubt that Consolidation grossed more than Precaution, or even measured up to it, in terms of sales. Again, Barrister's album titled "Reality" is one of the most popular Fuji albums ever released by any Fuji artiste in history. infact, it is, by my own estimation, one of the most listened-to old Fuji music till date. Interestingly, that Reality album was released in 2004, ten solid years after the release of Wasiu's Consolidation. Thus, it most unfounded for anybody to say that any of Wasiu's album retired Sikiru Ayinde Barrister. That was, and remains, a fallacy of the highest order. It is like saying Shina Peters' "Ace" album retired King Sunny Ade, when in truth KSA kept on releasing ever-green music albums thereafter. FACTS ARE THERE FOR ALL TO SEE.
