Oh and in 01 it came w mikuni x 35mm but I heard the hot setup is either a 36 or 38mm keihin air striker swap since mikuni can be tough to jet but my tmx carb seems to work great so I don't think I will be swapping out for keihin just yet... I know 2000 kx125 had a flywheel weight added for more momentum and a keihin carb so neways if u did jet it did you use the online specs from the "classic steel" excerpt telling u how to jet for sea level....which was a 370 main (380 stock) 45 pilot (50 stot) 1.5 turns instead of 2 on air screw...and needle in 4th position ( richer) was on 3rd (middle) .....or do u have your own custom jettings dpecs
Ok , well i suffer from a terminal case of tinker-itis, I can never just be happy w current settings, always feel I can make it better and then when I go too far and runs like shit, I'll then pray for it to run at least like I had it before!!!!....lol....
Wow absolutely awesome writing I recently been getting into 01 kx125 since I'm a recent owner just wondering a few things how much do you weigh and what have you done to the motor or carburetor and do you ever miss with the ignition timing in the main needle stator cover with those three hash marks to adjust whatever you're doing definitely seems to be in the sweet spot cuz I didn't hear you fall off the pipe one iota in this video and that thing is just screaming you make it look really easy I can tell you that but I mainly ride for fun since I have other fast 2 52 strokes I just never owned a 125 so this KX is my first ever 125 and I definitely love the the power spread of the high revving motor and power bands a little short and narrow but it's definitely doable and it's definitely a good bike you might have one people say it makes great horsepower and it's a join a ride and I got mine I got lucky getting it for under 2K with a absolute complete 100% recommending of a bike that only had maybe 20 hours since 01 absolutely stunning not a paint ship off the bottom of the furniture I was not even a ship perfect original paint a lot of original components I actually took off and put aftermarket ones so I wouldn't ruin those and I think I did a good job it looks awesome but just trying to get a fellow kx125 opinions about certain things so sorry to write you a Bible and I hope I can offer you some information you may not have known or vice versa I really sick of writing this bike in my little area town I need to stretch its legs like to track you on your on lol
that's awesome! as far as I know this is all stock except for PC pipe and silencer and I'm not sure of the jetting it is. I Run airplane fuel with makes a big difference.
Yo I have the exact same bike an 01 kx125 and I’ve been riding trails and been the to the track a few times and I wanna race like this. I live in Arizona, how’d you get started? It just looks like a blast good job racing btw
Nice work putting that Suzuki behind you.
Thank you! he's actually a good friend and if you notice, his pants were coming off. I may have had an advantage there hahah
@@motoblast3574 that and you’re a much better rider
Sounded to me like that yz 125 in front of you was bored out
Yes, maybe! What’s funny is that I know that rm125 is a 144cc haha
You rode well
Thank you!
I miss real English town
