It shows he’s just playing with these people. Which shows he really is just a young kid trying to help his hero Iron Man.
It was confirmed by the Russos that the word "homecoming" was not a nod to the Spiderman movie. Since at the time of this movie's production, that movie probably didnt have a title yet.

Losing the fight between cap and Bucky, lead to Tony adding close range ( melee ) weapons to his suit that he later uses in infinity war agaisnt Thanos ....
or maybe the fact that these things would weight a lot more and take much more space than energy weapons or explosives, meaning they only become viable after the switch to nanomachines. none of the melee weapons and shield used by Tony with the nano suit would be feasible to hide in a suit before.
Lots of his upgrades are like that. In IW he uses a booster to get to Ebony Maw's donut ship. He added that after he failed to save Rhodes in this film.

yeah it's crazy how much foreshadowing there is, I think the actors must really just make habits for the characters because so many come across multiple films.

I can see all of the important people behind the production of Ant-Man and the Wasp sitting in a room discussing how Scott Lang would spend his free time. Paul Rudd as an individual might have actually just enjoyed drumming and injected that into Scott throughout his screen time, so bringing up his own likes and dislikes would be valuable information.
Re: Break some eggs The expression “Break some eggs” that Tony brings up to the MIT crowd and then gets thrown back in his face also refers back to “Age of Ultron” when Thor says to Ultron “Nobody has to BREAK ANYTHING”, to which Ultron replies “Clearly you’ve never MADE AN OMELET” (implying that they would have to “Break some eggs” to do so; and to which even Tony quips at Thor that Ultron beat him by one second with his rebuttal, clearly showing that Tony deeply believe in the same philosophical trope that, in order to make something beautiful, you must first be willing to break something; Ultron even says later in that movie that he was “... meant to be something BEAUTIFUL”...! And one might even argue that, long before civil war, Tony BROKE the Avengers up by creating Ultron.)

What I don't believe is how he explained that both pens represented him and tony and how one of the pens being outside of the box represented how alienated rogers was towards half of the crew, that's a bit reaching, unless the russo brothers confirmed it to be true then yea.

You missed one. The sonic cannons on War Machine's wrists are a nod to The Incredible Hulk film. That same weaponry was used against Hulk during the army battle and revealed in the opening credits of that film to be created by Stark.

Honestly haven’t had as much fun on a series as this for a while. Crazy how much stuff there is in them. Feel like I’m barely scratching the surface at the moment so can’t even imagine how many things there are hidden in the film

Another cool detail I noticed: in the scene at 11:10 when tony strikes cap for the first time, he uses the repulsers on his hand to accelerates is fist to hit cap in the face. This is the same maneuver he uses to hit Aldrich Killian in the face when he is wearing the mk 40 suit in the final battle in Ironman 3
I’ve heard about the Iron Spider parachute thing before but the first Stark Suit has a parachute as well which Peter almost drowns with (before an Iron Legion armor saves him) in Homecoming
That movie also happened after Civil War. Tony Stark is a futurist. He upgrades all his technology to fix flaws from past technology. I believe that was mentioned in the commentary maybe.

If the bodies hadn't have been found to the next day (the 17th as you said) then the news wouldn't have been in the paper on the 17th as the paper was printed during the early hours of the morning of the 17th. In fact if they were killed on the 16th then it must have been early evening as for the bodies to have been found and the news to get out that would have had to happen by about 8/9pm on the 16th for it to make the newspaper on the 17th.
In the scene where Winter soldier escapes after Zemo triggered him and hes choking Widow, she says "you could at least remember me" I think that's a nod to the relationship that Bucky and Natasha had in the comic books

That's how I've seen it too. Or that end credit scenes dont necessarily have to be chronological or even related to the film in question. Vol 2 takes place a few months after vol 1
Fun detail: When Hawkeye gives Tony the ol' slow-clap and shouts some nonsense about him being a "Futurist", this may actually be a reference to Robert Downey Jr's first and only musical album titled "The Futurist." It's hip jazz/adult contemporary body of work but also features a very nice cover from YES.
I know a lot of people in the beginning said they couldn't believe that Tony, the "rebel" would align with the government officials/UN, but that's the genius of the movie: Tony and Steve's character arcs are parallel. The soldier following orders becomes the rebel and the rebel becomes the soldier following orders.
Another awesome video! Great stuff. Clearly they've put hell of a lot thought into the whole universe and it's one of the things that makes it so successful (I'd say, the most successful cinematic universe at this point) apart from keeping it even more together, of course.
That was an amazing video Definition, they always are, but I really enjoyed this one. I recently re-watched Civil War, then came upon this video, great points. That scene where Friday asks Tony what he imagined she looked like and he responded ginger, I never thought about the original Friday. However, in that scene, Friday responds in Pepper's voice, kinda creepy.
I will forever miss Stan. 😥! He truly was just a kind, genuine and humble man that loved telling stories but could listen to a 4 year old go on about Spiderman and The Hulk. I met Stan the first time almost 30 years ago back when Cons were just comic book geeks that could spend hours pouring over a story arc looking for... Easter eggs. Never did we entertain the idea of seeing an MCU. I am sure Stan never dreamt this would happen either, at one point The Hulk and Captain America were characters and titles they were going to suspend because sales were so poor, believe or not. I guess it just took one True Believer after all.

6:53 that was not old Steve before end game came out, they just reckoned it to be. Time travel is a tricky dar for movie producers.

I know a lot of people in the beginning said they couldn't believe that Tony, the "rebel" would align with the government officials/UN, but that's the genius of the movie: Tony and Steve's character arcs are parallel.
The soldier following orders becomes the rebel and the rebel becomes the soldier following orders.
Another awesome video! Great stuff. Clearly they've put hell of a lot thought into the whole universe and it's one of the things that makes it so successful (I'd say, the most successful cinematic universe at this point) apart from keeping it even more together, of course.

That was an amazing video Definition, they always are, but I really enjoyed this one. I recently re-watched Civil War, then came upon this video, great points. That scene where Friday asks Tony what he imagined she looked like and he responded ginger, I never thought about the original Friday. However, in that scene, Friday responds in Pepper's voice, kinda creepy.

I will forever miss Stan. 😥! He truly was just a kind, genuine and humble man that loved telling stories but could listen to a 4 year old go on about Spiderman and The Hulk. I met Stan the first time almost 30 years ago back when Cons were just comic book geeks that could spend hours pouring over a story arc looking for... Easter eggs. Never did we entertain the idea of seeing an MCU. I am sure Stan never dreamt this would happen either, at one point The Hulk and Captain America were characters and titles they were going to suspend because sales were so poor, believe or not. I guess it just took one True Believer after all.
