Hey, love the build. Quick note, you can in fact just switch the attribute of a node in the passive tree at the npc without having to refund all following nodes!
yea i also went Gemling legionnaire minions ive been a bit gear starved so sadly havent beaten act 3 just yet but ive also experimenting with different minons like the lightning skellys but they didnt feel good to use so i was just like meh oh well, glad to see others are running minion gemling legionnaire. i do hope we get bind specter up soon i want to experement with those as well with gemling legionnaire.

Witch is better minion class than gemling legionnaire so i started gemling leigonnaire and wanted to try minion build, but there are couple things that makes him weaker than witch for the following reasons: he's starting passive skill tree is at the bottom, and minions points are at the top, which makes it a long way to reach the points and you'll spend most of the points on useless stats until you reach them. on the other hands, witch starting point you can gain a total of 81% minion damage and 67% minion maximum life which you can't get on mercenary. She can also get most of the minions points if not all of them while on merc you can't. i am lvl 69 and the minions still feel weaker with good gear and passive points.
yeah, titan might be another good contender tho esp if the 50% small passive works on the minion dmg nodes. I think ghazzy might make try titan summoner soon
I think the thing they may make gemling better is the acendency that allows you to get any gem based of you highest stat. Some of those things on minions will probably go crazy and a witch won't have. Access
@@slabulous00 ehh ur giving up more minions and mana plus some defense from the damage conversion and pet just for another red skill socket doesnt seem worth
I am enjoying running it. Gearing up hoping for later content soon. With minions you have to realize that with gem level they use reduced spirit and in the case of some minions like snipers they have less reservation from quality as well.

What are armor sockets for? The runes go into armor, but they say they are for weapons.

titan MoM+eb+chaos innoc and everlasting amulet summoner sounds pretty interesting to try, dmg def gon be worse tho

How do you summon a minion if you're a mercenary? Wand?
You get enough intelligence and reserve spirit. Sceptre gives more spirit.
Nice, playing this exact same build but with infernalist. Try adding 1 cleric + storm mage with the perma shock while ignited supports ;)

I also dreamed of trying a minion build, but gave up after realizing that spirit don't get cost discounts..!! Is the performance of this build okay??

Cool!! I like it, clear and nice dmg, and not piano skills .
u can automate the offering and flask with auto hotkeys too for even more laziness : )
