My plan is to keep a stock pan and filter, plumb a remote mount screw on filter that is before the cooler. The stock filter will get the “bigger” stuff and the remote mount one will get the finer bits, along with being easier to replace. And I can’t leave out a set of temp. gauges, one for pre-cooler, one for post-cooler. Gotta make sure my slush box is doing dandy while towing or off-roading 😇
Thanks for sharing that steel pan find Im really curious about the pressure drop your referring to. How low does it drop, and how long? That VW we talked about, cuts 1.40 60' and the lowest ive seen it drop was 193 from 218, for just under a second.

thats really good. my customer was reporting almost an 80 psi drop. air is a terrible hydraulic medium!
