Ideale has always been my favourite Tosti song. I think the best versions of this song are from Bjoerling. He makes with his beautiful voice this song coming from another world. I always thought and regretted that Pavarotti (my 2nd best tenor) had never sung, let alone, recorded this. To my big suprise I saw and heared here that he had! And it's even on CD. What a beautiful (extended) version he did. A typical Pav. version with lots of emotion; you see and feel he's singing to his beloved. BRAVO

Everyone is a critic. This was one of the greatest voices in the history of MANKIND. His spacing and diction are flawless. The quivering vibration at some of the phrases and at the end are purposefully done. People need to stop being so technical all the time and just enjoy the music. Pavarotti was famous for his sound and nothing else, but I guess the world will always be filled with people who always have something criticize rather than enjoying a simple pleasure such as listening to this.
