The steering controls should be just like a jet ski. Better throttle control and steering input at the same time.

Should be a hot foot in case of a crash the throttle comes off and not stays wide open.

Actually the controls are just as they should be. And the throttle is a dead man's throttle, it springs back to idle in case of incident.
