Oh, and I call him "Viper" after his Viper Red paint scheme... perhaps odd to name a bicycle but it has to be done to mark the excitement, right? - Bob (Toronto)
Wee tip for the overshoes, pull the overshoe up your leg first, then put your shoe on as normal, then put the overshoe down over your shoe. Much easier.
I'd suggest mounting a chain catcher unless you're super confident in the rival not dropping the chain on the front. Its like 20 bux to safe the frame :)
Disc brakes rule, just be very gentle pulling the levers, they are super powerful so very easy to lock up the back wheel. So much safer once you're used to them
Love disc brakes! I’ve used a few bikes on trips with discs so I’m au fait with their sensitivity! It is always a funny reminder when you get on and slam on 😂

They’re crap back wheel lock up there’s no place for them on a road bike. Plus they are heavy
