Delighted to find your channel. Subscribed. I used to live in Beaconsfield, the area is full of show biz folks, handy for Pinewood Studios and West London. Now I live in Yorkshire 😁 and just discovered Guinness Alcohol free👍
Ahhh thank you so much for being here! Beaconsfield is absolute heaven! Yes, thought it might be the acting crew and studio crew. Plus a few big CEO’s!
A year is incredible! Well done to you! I’m loving it so far I can’t imagine going back… I’m even getting to the point of feeling a bit EUGH when I smell it 😂
What a Beautiful doggy! We lost one of ours last year, he was a Eurasier, so part Chow, part Samoyed and part wolfspitz, so he looked just like a big fluffy wolf! Lovely ride too, perfect weather, part from the wind!
Ahh I’m so sorry for your loss. We love Eurasias - so so beautiful. Our dog has a best friend that is a Chow. They called him Bacon 😂 ride was great, just always a sad to leave the dog behind. And he’s great at laying the guilt on thick!
Spokes is one of my local cafe's, nice place and handy to have the workshop on site as well. If you looking to up your mileage have you thought of trying an Audax ?, it's not all old blokes with beards on single speeds any more !. There's one next Saturday starting from Aylesbury, 200km which I am guessing will be quite local to you, only a tenner to enter and I think there's food at the start and finish and the routes are usually excellent. I'll be there !
Love spokes! Yes definitely, last year I did Tour de Ricky and I’m back in again for that this year. I’ll have a look at that one, I’ve a feeling I might be trying a race next Sat! But I’m definitely keen to do more. I love an audax!
winter gear you both use, but the gear you both wear for all rides. with your opinions too. bikes you select for each ride and stuff like that@@Pelohun
I had to give up drinking for health reasons and feel soooooo much better without it. I have the occasional drink at really special occasions, like foreign holidays or a big wedding, but I don't miss it or the hangovers. Although I have noticed that I don't get invited to as many parties!!!
I don’t tend to share my personal Strava or routes from home, just for privacy of where I live. Always so happy to share ones when I’m away. Makes me feel a bit uneasy putting that kind of detail out there!
You're in my backyard! I cycle there frequently - I live near Beaconsfield: a wonderful part of the world (OK, I'm biased). It has the greatest concentration of high value properties in the UK (I'm guessing outside London) - quite a few TV and pop star types live in the area, but it is mainly business people (CEO's etc) that live here
Well done on over a sober month. I’m 25 months sober yesterday
Congratulations that’s so inspirational! 🙌🏼🙌🏼

Nothing boring about not drinking.
100%!
In fact it’s an amusing insight into how uninteresting people become after the 3rd drink…
Well done on the not drinking, I've just completed a year, best thing I've ever done. Keep going...

Yes of course! What are you most keen to see?

@@smf1384 for sure! Plenty of that coming up!

Hahah I honestly think I have been invited to the pub less - which I don’t mind too much, I’m a home bird 😂 do feel so much better without it!
Do you have a route to spokes. I think your close to where I live the route I tired to plan takes me though Luton and lower Luton road.

@@Pelohun I get that totally. The routes I tried doing all hit areas I didn’t feel were good for riding.
RightMove Roulette is a brilliant game, we play it too 😂
The best game! The most dangerous game 😂
I stopped drinking in 2013. Best decision ever! I’m sure I’ve saved thousands of dollars over the years.
That’s an incredibly long time ago! That’s awesome, huge well done. I aspire to do the same and blow the cash on bikes 😂

Beaconsfield is beautiful! Funny you should say that my old boss lives that way 😂 it’s a glorious ride!
January is when I start drinking I hate that month 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Ha ha ha!
