April Fools comes early! I feel like you are straight up trolling ua here when you recommend a $100,000 Audi baby sedan, a Stellantis roadster, a Kia hatchback, a Tesla, and a Bronco. You really pulled off a genuine Andy Kaufman-esque performance, here Mark, this was the stuff of legend!!

Very surprised you chose a Tundra. They have nothing but turbo issues. Ford Bronco has had known issues too. No midsize trucks?

    • @ECPP
      @ECPP  10 หลายเดือนก่อน +3

You are right the Tundra has seen some turbo wastegate issues but I have faith that Toyota will have some of that corrected soon, but then honestly there is nothing better in the Ram, Ford, or GM stables. The Tacoma is up there as well but for a more affordable option, the Maverick could work too.

@ECPP Glad to see you're continuing on with the channel, we look forward to your content. The Nissan Frontier is an excellent option, looks, feels and drives like a truck, easy to work on and naturally aspirated. No fancy gimmicks but enough tech. It's not the best midsize truck, but it does everything competently which is what Nissan was looking for.

The newest Defenders are very cool vehicles. A few troubles along the way, but generally a cool SUV. People drive those to have something unique and truly legendary. The Japanese brands (except for any Nissan) are always a good choice for long term ownership, that is, post warranty. But an extended warranty (a good one not purchased from some shy lock company with celebrity endorsement) on any new vehicle that a reputable franchised dealer will stand by, should give piece of mind for purchase the more luxury European brands whose maintenance and longevity are reputed to be troublesome with age. Personally, as we have become older, and drive to the supermarket and local home improvement store, our boring and bland Toyotas are fine and cost effective with consumable maintenance items like oil and filter changes (every 4K miles).

    • @AvengerAngel
      @AvengerAngel 10 หลายเดือนก่อน

Any car can give problems, some Toyotas and Hondas burned oil like crazy. We had a Pathfinder, great vehicle, no issues. The CVT trans in Nissan passenger cars, with the history of the Jatco transmissions, a hard pass on those.

Here’s why awesome and best cars for me in 2024 models
1- Toyota Crown with 2.5 hybrid and 2.4 turbo hybrid four cylinder (those are excellent cars for me)
2- Ford Taurus (mondeo in Chinese market) with 2.0 eco boost turbo four cylinder (cause it’s less price and better interior)
3- Lexus NX F sport with 2.4 turbocharged four cylinder (I like this Lexus crossover and better quality)
4- GMC Yukon and Chevy Tahoe and Cadillac Escalade with 5.3 and 6.2 V8 (that’s why I love these SUVs)
5- GMC Sierra Denali ultimate and Chevy Silverado high country with 6.2 V8 (I love these trucks and best interior)
6- Toyota Camry and Lexus ES With 3.5 V6 (Because the 2.5 looks like the ford 5.4 3V V8 “new engine new engine new engine new engine” but with 3.5 with excellent reliability one)
7- Porsche Taycan (my only favorite Electric Vehicle)
8- Toyota Land Cruiser 300 series with 3.5 Twin Turbo V6 (not the tundra or sequoia those are piles of junk)
9- Lincoln Navigator with 3.5 Eco Boost Twin Turbo V6 (luxury and fun and best economical)
10- Ford Expedition with 3.5 Eco Boost twin turbocharger V6 (Same scenario with navigator)
11- Toyota Land Cruiser Prado, Fortuner, Hilux, 4Runner, Tacoma with 4.0 V6 (it’s excellent reliability)
12- Jeep Grand Wagoneer 3.0 hurricane twin turbo inline 6 (it’s my favorite and fastest and luxurious made by Jeep and I’m buying one)
13- Porsche Cayenne (Looks beautiful and better quality and best interior)
14- Lexus RX F Sport Hybrid with 2.4 turbo hybrid engine (excellent reliability and fun to drive)
15- Lexus IS F sport with 3.5 V6 (Not the garbage V8 engine)
16- Mazda CX 60 2.5 Four cylinder and 3.3 Turbo hybrid inline 6 (excellent shape and fun to drive and luxury interior and better quality interior)
17- Mazda CX 90 with 3.3 turbo hybrid inline 6 (same scenario as CX 60)
    18- Infiniti QX80 (with reliability great and 5.6 V8)
19- Lexus LX F sport with 3.5 Twin Turbo V6 (not the greatest quality interior but with this engine is good for me)
20- Ford Mustang with 5.0 V8 (shape evasion and good engine)
21- Ford F-150 Raptor with 3.5 twin turbo V6 (same scenario as Lincoln Navigator but it for off road)
22- Ford Ranger Raptor with 3.0 Twin turbo V6 (budget raptor and best price with hot weathers)
23- Chevy Trailblazer with 3.6 V6 (excellent reliability and best off road and better quality interior)
24- Nissan Patrol (Armada in US Market) with 4.0 V6 or 5.6 V8 (I love these Patrols and QX80s)
25- Dodge Ram 1500 Limited and TRX (No comments with these trucks 😍😍😍I love it as the rose 🌹)
Those are my favorite models 2024 and best looking for me. ❤❤❤

Good choices. But we bailed on the Mazda 3 (we had 3 in our family in 2020) when we drove the current generation of Mazda 3. They "cheaped out" by going with early 80s style Torsion Beam Sususpension. Then they had the moxie to try and tell us that it handles as well as, if not better than Independent Rear Suspension.
    LIE!
If true, why haven't l found one serious performance car have TBS on the Lot, or the track. We switched to Civics and the Lexus UX...all 3 with l.R.S, of course.
You are right about the Audi, but after 70k I don't trust the electronic gremlins l've seen coming back to me in Customer Relations. I would LEASE ONLY. If you lease, youll have a 3-4 year riot driving one.

Some serious change out of your wallet out of warranty. Ive seen them in the wild, they just keep getting uglier every time i see one. So im looking elsewhere for a replacement, maybe aV8 Titan. I wanted another Tundra or Sequoia but Toyota has lost me.

That’s close but for me I prefer a coupe. The MX5 is Ana amazing car and it’s a lot of fun and durability wrapped up in a great skin. That’s a very close second.

@ECPP you live further south than I do. I prefer a targa for a sports car. Every other car in the video is spot on. Very knowledgable, thank you.

The IS is great and it easily fits in a “best of” list but for a mainstream lower cost mid sized, the Camry would be more popular for most people

I the best vehicle of 2024 is my new-to-me 2010 Volvo XC70 T6 😆 It’s got enough room to sleep two inside or take a month’s worth of luggage and camping gear, and yet I can roll race things like a B6 S4 and embarrass them because the wagon’s brilliant 3.0L single-turbo I6 is producing peak torque (295 ft-lbs) from 1,500 to 4,800 rpm.

I have to disagree with you. The Bronco is a POS. Overly priced and it does not drive well. Its crash rating will get you killed every time. Electric doesn't belong on the list. They are all hype and not good for anything. Th. It rides better than the Toyota and will tow 7000 pounds. I did it! The Mazda is a good sports car but a rebadged Celica and z4. The BMW is superior to these cars, competing and surpassing the Boxter and the Miata. The pilot is a great cat but so is the Ridgeline truck. The only thing with the ridgeline is it doesn't have a toilet. It's as good if not better in many areas. Sorry, but on this one, you missed the mark.

I used to hate them too but there's basically no wagons left on the market and none specifically from Toyota or Lexus, so what am I supposed to do? Sedans drive great but are useless for practicality.
