- Aligning the rib cage over the pelvis places the diaphragm in an ideal position to function efficiently and enhances overall body stability.
Think of your core as the foundation, like the base of a catapult, with your limbs as the arm. You can't generate power without a strong base.
Efficient breathing is also key to reducing wasted energy.
For quality movement, the ability to stack the rib cage over the pelvis should be a fundamental prerequisite, providing a solid foundation for all other movements.
