Great job. First video I've seen with the LED brake lights. I now have a 2021 2500HD Duramax LT and on my previous 2015 Duramax High Country, I put the light strips behind tailgate and the same thing happened. Just swapped the wires like you did. I did finally wired them into my harness and don't go by wiring diagram because it was wrong on truck. I had to test light each wire till I found the one I wanted. I am fixing to LED all my lights also.
Lol 😂 having a lil trouble getting that pickup in the garage. Thankfully nothing got damaged! Anyway… You have a good attitude & your a great teacher keep it up 👍🏽 this video really helped me with my 2022 TrailBoss granted i like to think I’m a very teachable individual but I’m giving you all the credit on this one. Thank you. I subscribed.
Hi, Leaman, Your videos are super informative and very clear in instructions. I appreciate that. In this video, you mention the color of the right tail light/brake light/turn signal wire, but what is the color for the left tail light/brake light/turn signal wire? Same? 2022 Siverado 2500 HD Thanks in advance!
Great video, my question is do the switchback front lights work still after changing the back to leds ? I ordered a set of switchback from lasfit, but I saw it says on there site front with halogen rear or led rear. Right now I have halogen but gonna change to led. Was wondering if it changed the switchbacks in front
So I just picked up a new 22 Silverado LT refreshed and working on the bulbs. I ran into an issue with my previous Yukon that when I plugged in the new bulbs/resistors they were bright during the daytime then turned signals and they flashed appropriately. But at night with the brake light on with the headlights, like stopped at a light, when you turn the turn signal on it you could barely see the Flash. How is it with these bulbs?
So is it absolutely necessary to have the resistor? Because I have seen videos of the led lightbulbs in the front turn signals without resistors and it didn’t hyper flash. Just curious I own a 2020 2500hd work truck
Did you have to remove that weird looking bracket on the left side of the tailgate that half of it attaches to the tailgate and the other half attaches to the bed to install the led light strip ?
I just ran into that issue with the opt7 light bar so I aborted the install for now lol. Been looking around for a solution. Maybe some sort of spacer or somethin but I haven’t found anything yet.
I bought one of those strips for my 2020 Silverado but never installed it. Began to notice too many of them with burned out sections and it looked bad.
So question. How did you get the strip to adhere over the tailgate bracket on the drivers side??? I have the same truck, and it looks like it would have to go right over the two bracket bolts.
hi, do you know if the gmc sierra 2013 tail lights will fit on a gmc sierra 2021? i have a cracked light a need just a suitable replacement keeping the original blubs. 😎 thanks
Hey there Leaman, Did you swap out your reverse lights with the LasFit bulbs on this truck? I've switched mine out twice and still getting the error light (check revers bulb) every time I back up on my 22 Tahoe High Country? I think I'll try and do my brake lights with the bulbs you have used? Love the golf cart for the kids!
I did not wanna do the whole resistor on the l.e.d. but now your giving me second thoughs! Looks super clean 👌

wich one did you buy for the red brake light? its plug n play?
@@michaelallard404 hi, returned because there is no resistors built in for turns, I guess it's just the blinkers for the front

Just curious why you didn’t go for the OEM LED lights from a LTZ.

I've noticed after ordering 7443 LED Brake light it didn't fit my 2020 Silverado
